since Bush's war with Muslims, our debt has quadrupled, I bet the 911 terrorists never dreamed they could do so much damage for as little as their attack cost them

if a dozen Christian terrorists attacked Russia or Iran, if they attacked all of north America with a 10+ year war, it would be just as stupid, we had a right to retaliate, we just overreacted biggly

Yes the war in iraq and our neverending occupation of afghanistan was an expensive mistake

Because bush let bleeding heart libs tell him how to run the war

Saddam should have stayed as a foil to the iranians

And the war in afghanistan should have been punative only

One which ended in 6 months

Go in and kill as many militants as we could and then leave

Quite the list. My personal favorite Obama whopper: everyone will pay less for health insurance. I wonder if you're keeping careful track of Trump's lies. Somehow, I doubt it...

Nope because I don't care about their lies.

I never kept track of Obama's either but its not hard to Google them for a post.

The only thing I care about are the numbers they are producing.

Bush called himself the compassionate conservative as if other conservstives were not compassionate

He wantrd to run a kinder and gentler war and was always trying to please the knee-jerk bush haters

That led to cockeyed rules of engagement and nationbuilding in countries that were too backward and wacko to respond

Cutting entitlements for Republicans could be fatal. Medicare and Social Secutity have 80+% popularity. Polls show more than 60% of Americans would rather raise taxes than cut benefits.

Medicare is the killer and we can do a lot to help cut costs by getting the many and varied snouts out of the healthcare trough--drug companies charging us by far the highest prices for prescription drugs in the world, insurers operating in uncompetitive markets, doctors who make twice as much as their European counterparts, malpractice lawyers, and so on.

A bunch of silly statements that show you don't understand how to frame a political argument.

Well, the numbers aren't good. The economy is growing about as fast as it was in 2014, workers have lower real wages than they did when Trump took office, and we're a hair away from an inverted yield curve that signals a coming recession. Is the Bloviator-in-Chief starting trade wars so he has something to blame the recession on?

So, then, are tou keeping track of the numbers?

Bush listened to Cheney and Rumsfeld - think you know that

    and maybe these two men

"Two men driving Bush into war"

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2003/feb/23/usa.iraq1

"Bush called himself the compassionate conservative"

yeah, no one else called him that but himself, that is like Trump saying he is a stable genius

Trump will pass on a failing economy to democrats and democrats will have to clean it up like they did for the Bush economy, then sadly another republican will be voted in and destroy the economy again with more tax cuts for the rich and mega corps

he was talking about with a public option, we never got that

Trump said everyone would be covered, we have not got that yet either

Truth is, Congress decides that kinda stuff, the President just gets to sign the bill if passed by Congress

Trump said the tax bill would be a middle class tax cut bill, but it was a huge permanent corporate tax cut bill with some small temporary tax cuts for the middle class

how about we raise the taxes on corps that outsource our jobs and give those same $$$ in tax cuts to the middle class instead, the middle class will have more to spend and the rich will create jobs to get that money

the last 6 years republicans controlled Congress so sadly he could only do so much, Obama wanted to give the people another stimulus, republicans would have no part of that, they preferred their huge corp tax cuts and tax cuts for the rich

I do agree somewhat, Bush got us in deep, when Obama ended Iraq, he got attacked for any bad thing that happened after we left, same would happen to Trump if he brought home the troops

the other thing is unemployment goes up if we bring the soldiers home as many will need jobs

if corps keep outsourcing our jobs overseas and importing goods from overseas, yes, we are in trouble - why did Trump give mega corps that outsource our jobs huge tax cuts, why not give corps tax cuts that do not outsource our jobs only - don't Trump's corps use foreign labor?
