    It's not a conspiracy that masking children inhibits emotion and social development. It is a hint that some sort off mass psychosis is going on here if large numbers of people are willing to ignore that in an effort to put up a fake front in fighting the virus. I say fake because as I explained above, there is a duration of contact element to catching Covid that can nullify the effectiveness of masks.

    Vaccinated people also stay out of the Hospital and not die of covid in 99.99% of those vaccinated. Why deny science?

    I'm not talking about last year. I'm talking about now, with our vulnerable vaccinated, and many with natural immunity. What's the mortality rate now?

    I never denied the governments' (state, local, or federal) public health emergency authority. But there are limits to that authority. It must be temporary and not arbitrary.

    I would argue most other characteristics should be irrelevant to an employer as well — such as gender, race, sexual orientation, religion — yet the same people upset here frequently argue some of those individuals do not deserve protections from their employer.

    It lessens the severity including fealty likelihood of the employee. That is absolutely in the interest of the employer as they do not want to have to deal with unnecessary staffing and retraining issues.

    the only reason for protections is if certain people are being particularly targeted. The ones I find that are targeted the heaviest are veterans.
    So you go from having a mild fever to even more mild fever and this is an interest of your employer because?

    I agree with that point, for areas were there is less risk, but airlines I think most agree are a very enclosed space and have addl risks

    The life insurance is not a good analogy. The employee is not required to verify health status when applying for a job.

    why extend this to newly hired employees since June?

    You mean like in the back of a semi? I've been enclosed since day 1, in order to ship Americans their sex toys (yes, on more than 1 occasion a box has burst open to reveal them) and other fun luxuries and conveniences.

    So I could be enclosed with other people for that, when noone was vaccinated and we didn't know anything about the virus, but now that the vulnerable are vaccinated, and we know the mortality rate has plummeted, I can't be enclosed with people on a plane?

    many airlines do not have these rules, can always work for or fly those airlines

    I can, for now. I also can point out the hypocrisy and elitism in these mandates, for both masks and vaccines. I'm sure the people who were able to work from home, or who were one of the millions who could lock down and live on a government check, have a totally different perspective on Covid than I do. But remember, there are those like me out there, who were put in close proximity this entire time in order to provide you conveniences. It's different than healthcare workers who put themselves at risk to help alleviate death and pain. I did it for your convenience.

    My message to America, especially the mandate fans, is: If Covid didn't elevate your sense of urgency enough to warrant discontinuing your conveniences and luxuries, please keep your sense of urgency to yourself concerning the need to mandate masks or vaccines.
