As we're all sifting through the contents and analyses of the IG report on FISA abuse that was released today, here are the responses from U.S. Attorney John Durham, who is conducting the criminal investigation into that abuse, and AG William Barr:

    And so it begins.

Obviously, the Horowitz report won't be the final word and act on this matter.

I hope Durham rights the ship on this and cleans out the criminal elements in the FBI/CIA/IRS.....

    This from AG Barr:

The Inspector General found the explanations given for these actions unsatisfactory. While most of the misconduct identified by the Inspector General was committed in 2016 and 2017 by a small group of now-former FBI officials, the malfeasance and misfeasance detailed in the Inspector General’s report reflects a clear abuse of the FISA process.

    Oh? Ok.

Will this "investigation" go on forever?

Will the Pro-Trump RW ever admit that this narrative is BS?

Or, if Durham turns up nothing, will they hitch their wagons to Bat Boy"s Coffee Clouds?

Yes Inspectors General are limited into what and where their investigations can go. They cannot compel testimony of persons not currently employed in the department for which they are serving as the IG. This is just a preliminary report for the DOJ to act upon.

I thought the preceding line in Barr's statement was more damning:

"In the rush to obtain and maintain FISA surveillance of Trump campaign associates, FBI officials misled the FISA court, omitted critical exculpatory facts from their filings, and suppressed or ignored information negating the reliability of their principal source."

    Uh-oh....

If the FBI misled the FISA courts, then they should be held criminally liable.

Trump press conference and Americans are unloading on how corrupt Obama and his FBI were. Lying to the courts, altering 302's and biased behavior. If Americans know it, then shame on Horowitz.

Caught red handed in their coup against a President.

Time for Durham to indict these criminals.

Like I said, Trump is going to need to Divert Funds from The "Wall Project" to fund a New Wing at SuperMax.

By the time that Durham gets finished, there will probably be so many new Federal Death Penalty Case that they will have to postpone the Boston Bomber's Execution until the next millennium.

Obama's Cronies are in big trouble.

    Serious Bidness.:salute:

Will the investigation go on forever?
Why didn’t you ask Robert Mueller that?
Did it really take 2+ years to determine nothing?

Unlike the IG, Durham is known as a “non partisan” investigator.

I trust his findings, whatever it may be.

You also declared Hillary Clinton would be our next president and you'd leave this forum if she lost, so...

    Worthless hyperbole. :bored:

How soon before Durham is labeled a deep State swamp creature after he fails to give Trumpers what they desperately wanted the IG report to be?

    I say 2 hours, tops.

    Ok.

At least you are "on record" as saying that you will "trust his findings".

Hopefully, other members of the RW will also accept Durham's findings as the end of the Rabbit Hole.

Also, I have always been on record as favoring the Criminal Prosecution of Anything that can be PROVEN (beyond a reasonable doubt).

^However, the above sentence does NOT refer to Unfounded RW Conspiracies.

Seriously..... The democrats are the one going through impeachment inquiries grasping as anything that they can spin into impeachment.

They limited the questions asked by republicans, allowed Trump no attorney, and prevented republicans to call witnesses and you still struck out.

What will TDS Sufferers label Durham within 2 minutes of an indictment against a member of the Obama-Clinton crime family?

Uh huh.... I don't recall anybody saying they wouldn't trust Horowitz's findings until his findings weren't what you wanted...

What ever happened to the LW conspiracy of Quid Pro Quo?

Let’s not forget collusion and obstruction?

Maybe Robert Muller needs to do another 2+ year 50 million dollar investigation to determine nothing.

When was the first time in this situation you heard the phrase QPQ?? Who originated it??

Answer those 2 questions and you'll have the answer to your first question...
