China summons US ambassador over telecom executive's detention

Chinese officials on Sunday summoned U.S. ambassador to China Terry Branstad to denounce the arrest of a prominent telecom executive in Canada at the behest of American prosecutors.

Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Le Yucheng "lodged solemn representations and strong protests" over Huawei chief financial officer Meng Wanzhou's arrest in Vancouver, the Xinhua news agency reported.

EXACTLY.!!!! He has stirred up more distension, angst, and anger world wide..........in two years than anyone one can think of in recent history It is like he is functioning in some previous dark ages where moats , and other such methods were the order of the day.

As if there are not enough serious issues world wide to deal with........without actively creating more......

You think because chana has not grabbed the robot market yet that it never will

But if globalists in the west continue to sleepwalk through history they are in for a big surprise when they do wake up

China can build anything it wants to

And with subsidies from the Chinese government they can underbid the euros or japanese

Plus as I mentioned the US must be a player in that field also

Again, utter nonsense. Union rank-and-file, especially in manufacturing environments, have a reputation of at least half the membership voting conservative, regardless of what union leadership recommends, and my own 30 plus years of experience, calling on unionized auto companies, auto suppliers, petrochemical plants, steel and aluminum manufacturers, and power generation, bears that out. At least half the membership are Republicans, with a handful of Libertarians thrown in the mix. The myth that unions uniformly vote Democrat is perpetuated by ill informed right wingers, who actually little to no experience in, or exposure to, our nations smoke stack industries. The only unions whose majority of membership reliably vote for Democrats are teachers unions, most public service unions, and the hospitality unions. That's it. Manufacturing union members uniformly voting Democrat? That's not reality.

Yes, I agree that union workers are not all democrats

Just as many if not most cops on the street of big blue cities are not democrats like the chief of police usually is
