Link: US Supreme Court ends Biden's pandemic eviction moratorium (msn.com) Knew this would happen. Quite frankly NO executive branch agency should be making law. Not even the President should be. That is Congresses job. Period. Full stop. The Executive Branch's sole purpose is to enforce the laws that Congress makes and deal with foreign affairs.
Better late than never! That was the right decision. It's even questionable as to whether a Congressional law violating the property rights of citizens would be legal, much less when some leftist bureaucrat does it.
It was ridiculously obvious the moratorium is unconstitutional yet the 3 liberal justices voted against removing it. Then they claim Republican judges are 'political'.
I know one thing, the Biden Administration is not having a good time of it at the moment. Between the court losses, Afghanistan withdrawal mess up, border crisis...and yet lefties shrug all this off. If it had been Trump you know damn well they would be hollering for Trumps head.
And now we'll see if the Democrats will then pass a bill reinstating it which it too would be entirely unconstitutional.
