    1. Washington (AFP) – The United States on Friday demanded that Beijing-backed news outlets stop sharing “dangerous” reports after a newspaper revealed personal information about an American diplomat in Hong Kong who met with pro-democracy activists.

“Official Chinese media reports on our diplomat in Hong Kong have gone from irresponsible to dangerous. This must stop,” State Department spokeswoman Morgan Ortagus posted on Twitter....

    2. There is a Chinese saying, "The bad guy is always the first to sue others in court." Instead of admitting its wrongdoing, the US accuses its victim of "going from irresponsible to dangerous" instead. Perhaps, China can refer to past records of how other countries, rich or poor, big or small, standing firm in the face of US hegemony. :)

    (a) For instance, back in January 2014:

NEW DELHI: The Indian government asked the United States Friday to withdraw a New Delhi embassy diplomat in a fresh escalation of a bitter diplomatic row...

The two countries have been at loggerheads over Indian consulate worker Devyani Khobragade, who was arrested and charged in New York for visa fraud and making false statements relating to the employment of her domestic servant....

    (b) The "cheapskate" burger treat saga

In my previous post about a US diplomat found giving a burger treat to a dissident in an Asian country about 34 years ago, the diplomat later left for the US. It was unclear whether he was recalled or expelled. :whisper:
