It's almost like we went backwards in the last 8 years, not forward.

How can people live and act like this? Where is the nuclear family? Where has the morality gone to? Where has the decency and respect gone to?

I just don't understand how people can say things are better now after 8 years of Obama.

I don't see the problem. What's wrong with prostitutes, road side camp fires, and vehicular assault? I'd love to raise my family there.

Detroit simply succumb to the natural state of African habitation.

Look at any African habitat anywhere on this planet.

Which by that I mean any place where the population of Blacks is high enough to be in control.

Can show me one that isn't in a state of decay and distress?

    Nope, you can't

At least liberals could have the good graces to (*)(*)(*)(*)(*) about the open fires, especially when the Obama administration put such massive restrictions on wood burning stoves. There really is no limit to liberal hypocrisy...

I can show you the same routine in any major city USA. Don't be so surprised, there is always a seedy side of town.

How come blacks are always the key ingredient to the seedy sides of towns?

No, you don't understand, that just how ALL of Detroit is, there simply isn't a non-seedy side of that f'd up liberal utopia...

Oh some streets are safe, usually when the police arrive to process the latest murder or rape...

And what are the demographics of those other "major city USA" you speak of?

    You know the answer.

LMAO, I forgot about that one. When the libs are out of excuses, they'll drag the blame Bush slogan from the bottom of the barrel.

What's really funny is around the 1:44 mark, where that one woman - I think it's a woman - pushes that guy into the oncoming car that's headed towards him anyway. Meanwhile the guy dressed in black just casually shuffles across the parking lot as if nothing had happened. Then the car comes back again.

Vehicular Assault: Just another lifestyle choice in Detroit!

Although it's not PC to say this, it's the truth. Can anyone name a city that is majority black that is not in a state of decay? What about cities that were once a wonderful place to live that have now become like what you see in the video? (Memphis, Pine Bluff, Chicago) What is the common denominator? It's usually a great rise in black population. If you don't know that, you've probably lived your entire life in whiteyville. I now live in whiteyville and love it! No crime, we can safely walk through towns at night, leave our houses/cars unlocked, talk to strangers, etc. It's wonderful although I grew up in a majority black city and life was very different.

I grew up there and was quite safe. I never witnessed a murder or rape. I like Detroit and hope to visit relatives in my hometown soon. I have heard that some neighborhoods have deteriorated since the 80's, due to a loss of jobs. Nevertheless, this thread is hyperbolic.

As I said I grew up in Detroit, and the city was majority black then. I had a terrific childhood there.

You should go back and visit soon. I'm sure it hasn't changed a bit. Detroit has become known for it's wonderful residents and friendly hospitality.

Even Martin Luther King, Jr. wouldn't get off at Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd.
