I haven't read the bill yet. Does it include requirements for the woman/girl to be fully apprised of the physiciological, psychological and religious implications of getting an abortion as well as the belief that she's committing murder according to the pro-lifers' beliefs? If so, who is being mandated to deliver this information to her?

Women can understand the nature of the procedure without having to see it.

People understand the nature of an appendectomy without having to watch one.

But they have to follow the law and that means informed consent and they have to sign legal forms stating as such.

But how do you know that all the women who do get abortions don't believe the pro-choice arguments that it is just a mass of cells and not a living being?

You don't think it is the business of society when innocent human life is killed?

I think women are smart enough to know what a fetus looks like. And seeing it on screen has already been shown not to change their minds.

I support healthcare being made available to anybody who needs it. This is NOT "healthcare" - it's an attempt to control and humiliate women. There is no medical benefit to it whatsoever.

Ultrasounds are part of good prenatal care when a birth is expected - NOT when the fetus is going to be aborted within 24 hours.

I don't like Obama care either. Also what are you talking about here, did they shut down insurance companies or something?

I didn't realize Obamacare is now incharge of the entire medical industry and decides who gets what. Where are you hearing this, because I'm pretty sure I'd of heard by now if Obama care meant the government took over the insurance companies.

When it's a fetus, no. Is it the business of society when a bunch of fertilized eggs are dumped into medical waste? Should they all be forcibly implanted into women? If not then why are those innocent human lives less valuable than ones that are already inside a girl? An egg could be considered half a human, so should society know every time a girl has her period, because I mean you get two of those and that's equal to 1 dead human. Hell every time I jerk off I'm committing a mass extinction.

That or we can agree that a fetus is a bit different than, say, a fully developed human. You know, go the reasonable route with things.

You think Ubamacare will have no effect on your insurance company?

No need to worry, it's only government authority over doctors, hospitals, insurers, employers, and individuals with more than 150 new bureaucracies, agencies, boards, commissions, and programs to rule over health care in the United States.

I've lived here all my life as have my children. I won't be leaving because my state government has been taken over by a bunch of religious nutters who want to exert control over everybody's lives.

Elections have never been a really big deal here because we've always had divided government and both parties have for the most part had the state's best interests at heart. This is the first time I can remember that we find ourselves with a bunch of (*)(*)(*)(*)ed freaks trying to impose their religious and pro-life beliefs on the entire state. The 61% of Virginians who strongly oppose what they're doing will make themselves heard in the next election and the 31% who support them can start packing.

See that's why those eggs in petri dishes should have never been allowed...another can of worms opened.

Yes, and just like Ubamacare forced onto people against their will. Want to repeal it now?

So people who cannot have children naturally should not be able to do so at all even though the methods exist to do so?

Planned Parenthood does ultrasounds to protect themselves from harassment and accusations of doing improper abortions. And I notice this says "ultrasound" - not the invasive "transvaginal ultrasound". There a big, big difference. Also, Planned Parenthood does it for THEIR reasons - not in order to make an opportunity for a religious nutter to shriek at the female about her "murdering a child".

So you're OK with innocent human life being killed when it is inconvenient. Gotcha.

Yes which is why steps have been taken to end the practice.

I wouldn't support that would you?

    No such thing.

What is a "fully developed human being"? A wasn't fully developed until I reached adulthood and stopped growing. When I was six years old I have not developed facial or pubic hair nor did I produce sprem. My daughter had not developed breast.

Specious and quote the law saying that trans-vaginal are required.
