Looks like democrats are already claiming election fraud before the election even begins. I’m at a loss for words

Wait.......you think it's a good thing roughly 1/3 of Repubs believe in the Big Lie and take the word of an inveterate lying outfit like Faux? Misplaced distrust in what the media reports is a terrible thing for democracy and exactly why Trump foments it.

We don't know that it was a lie. We don't know whether the election results were accurate or not. There is a lot of evidence of voter fraud but nothing has been done about it other than some recounts. Computers can count better than humans. Recounting is pointless. If we don't do a thorough investigation voter fraud is likely to continue. Fox did broadcast the voter fraud evidence but that, of course, is their job. Was it accurate? Who knows?

Trump has succeeded in obfuscating the truth in your eyes. That's sad, and dangerous, and explains why he remains an existential threat to democracy.

The gullible believe what they are told and ignore the ton of irregularities and the unconstitutional changes to election laws. They actually and incredibly believe this was the most secure election ever!

These people are the actual threat to our democratic republic.

That is not at all what "they," are claiming. The worry is that all the Republican officials who would not participate in Trump's attempt to deny the legal transfer of power to Biden-- Secretaries of State, people on Boards of Election, even members of Congress-- are either having their power transferred to state legislatures, or are being replaced by people who pledge themselves absolutely to Donald Trump's service, so that if they don't get the result they like in 2024, they'll be in a position to overrule the public vote, & install the Republican candidate anyway, by claiming election fraud.

As your use of the word, "we," shows that you consider yourself one of them, your speaking out against any of these mechanisms that Trump was hoping would be used to change, or invalidate, election results, would give your trivializing of this threat a lot more credibility.

Your party is on the side of big government. The bigger the government, the more control over our lives. Opposing big government is not the same thing as opposing government. I am not an anarchist.

You couldn't be further from being correct saying that its about who is controlling government. The issue is the amount of power. The who changes. Lobbyists with dollar sighs in their eyes fight for control. Once they get their proboscises into the tax payer blood stream, they wield tremendous political power.

Lets just say that I don't support our government having any more power than you would want our previous president to have.

    "scholars" = Leftists
    "protect" = Control

It's always about Power and Control with these despots. The ends justify the means to them.

When the government is needed to address issues the free market can't or isn't providing remedies for then yes I'm for government intervention. By and large government steps in when there is a regulatory void. Like with food safety, drug safety, clean water and air, worker safety, etc.

Health as an excuse for violating autonomy is against the very human spirit. Even if we survive the virus, America is finished. The media(as seen here) wants to carry the water of the regime and in doing so wants to create a nonexistent threat and we'd seen through the "neutral" DOJ of Garland will use the power to squash it(the FBI summoning on parents.)

Biden is to Che Chevara, Joseph Stalin, etc making these professors little more than aids in the current transformation of the US to a third world communist nation.

They didn't put forth any reasoned argument. All that they did was repeat talking points. They didn't even provide any proof of their claims. So there is nothing to argue against.

Did they provide any proof of their claims? Or did they just make claims? They just made claims. Hence, propaganda.

And why should I respect them? What have they done to earn my respect? Just because they are professors I should automatically respect them? Pfft. I don't do that for anyone.

Another fallacy. I already posted what they are doing and you called me a cynic. They are doing the same thing dems are doing, but with a different letter by their name. On the fascism scoreboard, dems are still ahead.

Youtube videos triggering a reenactment of Chicken Little makes people look so much better! I wish this was a discussion about opposing abuse of power by politicians.

You are absolutely right about corruption, but as a Democrat, you are not pointing with clean hands.

This whole issue would be null and void if the democrats would stop pretending that voter ID is racist and stop trying to prevent any attempts at securing the vote. There could be no claims of fraud if we had a decently secure system.

Considering the games being played by the left, you won't get any kind of sympathy from me.

Do you see the difference between a comedian's prediction and what actual Repub candidates are doing?

‘It’s spreading’: Phony election fraud conspiracies infect midterms

The preemptive spin is everywhere. Last week it was Larry Elder in California, who — before getting trounced in the GOP’s failed effort to recall Gov. Gavin Newsom — posted a “Stop Fraud” page on his campaign website. Before that, at a rally in Virginia, state Sen. Amanda Chase introduced herself as a surrogate for gubernatorial candidate Glenn Youngkin and told the crowd, “Because the Democrats like to cheat, you have to cast your vote before they do.” In Nevada, Adam Laxalt, the former state attorney general running to unseat Democratic Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto, is already talking about filing lawsuits to “tighten up the election” — more than a year before votes are cast. And in Pennsylvania, former Rep. Lou Barletta, who is running for governor after losing a Senate race two years earlier, said he “had to consider” whether a Republican could ever win a race again in his state given the current administration of elections there.

Trump may have started the election-truther movement. But what was once the province of an aggrieved former president has spread far beyond him, infecting elections at every level with vague, unspecified claims that future races are already rigged.

Subversion of the election process, as described, is 'creeping fascism'.

"Creeping fascism" isn't fascism, it's just a train headed in that direction.

Great example. The FDA is supposed to work for you and me, but has close ties to big pharma and food giants. Have you ever noticed how many commercials advertising class action lawsuits for damage caused by products the FDA deemed "Safe and Effective"? Have you noticed that Americans are fatter and sicker than ever?

How about the air and water in liberal-land, Los Angeles? I would love to see our government working to improve public health and a clean environment.

    BTW, are you a Vegan?

y'all have been pushing the 'big government' trope for what, 100 years now?

That's rich given that repubs have been spending money like a drunken socialist, during Trump

What can I say, the lobbying system needs fixing.

When health poses an existential threat to a nation, all bets are off

Otherwise I would agree with you.
Oh yeah, this 'dems are commies' is a tired old trope.

    Dismissed.
