After leaving it up for almost two months, the House Judiciary GOP's official Twitter account has finally deleted their infamous tweet that read, "Kanye. Elon. Trump."

I'd like this twice if I could.
We did not send you our best.
    Sorry about that.
On the other hand we didn't send our best to Australia either and they don't seem to have these same issues and never forgot their love of cricket.
Perhaps you should have kept our King after all. ;)
Or is it just that criminals are better than Puritans?

Uh, cricket was invented after baseball. Probably because four bases too confusing. For Brits anyway. And don't get me started on how a team can score a thousand times more than their opponant over a week and it still can be a draw.

Yes, we invented baseball as a children's game first and then invented cricket for the adults later on. ;) It was only the civil war that made baseball more popular than cricket in the US. Check it out, the highly mobile state of war made it impossible to create the flat pitches required for cricket so the troops switched to baseball where the pitcher doesn't bounce the ball.
Because when losing appears the only possible outcome a draw can seem like snatching victory from the jaws of defeat.

We played baseball. It was as kids in primary school as 10 year olds but we called it rounders. When we became adults we played cricket, one of the greatest contributions of Britain to the world (apart from democracy, freedom, Magna Carta, the Glorious Revolution, the Bill of Rights, Act of Toleration, eliminating slavery etc etc). Nothing gives you a stiff upper lip more than a piece of leather bound cork hurled towards you at 90 miles an hour by some belligerent antipodean.

    And it's spelt "opponent".

    It was originally called baseball.
Cricket balls were filled with tightly packed feathers using a t shaped device with a spike. The tool was braced on your chest and the spike used to ram the feathers in. It used to cause serious chest problems.
