Was Hillary's loss result of campaigning in error?

Hillary lost for two main reasons in my opinion. One you hit upon. Between 1 Sep through 8 Nov Trump made 116 campaign visits/rallies to Clinton's 71 and part of that 71 was fund raisers in deep blue California and New York. States: Wisconsin, Trump made 5 visits/rallies to Clinton's zero, none. Michigan it was Trump six, Clinton one. Pennsylvania, Trump 8, Clinton 5 and I'll add Florida where Trump made 13 visits/rallies to 8 for Clinton. Clinton also took several days off the campaign trail to none for Trump. In short reason number one is Trump outworked and out campaigned Clinton.

Reason two can be laid at the angry Sanders supporters for the DNC and Democratic state party leaders rigging the democratic primaries in Hillary's favor. Clinton won the Democratic base 89-8 over Trump. But she won Sanders supporters by only a 65-22 margin with 13% voting for a third party candidate and that doesn't count the Sanders supporters who just stayed home.

Basically Clinton ran 3-4 behind Obama in almost every voting group. But the above two reasons sticks in my mind.

Reason Three: Blue collar voters in Wisconsin, Iowa, Pennsylvania, Ohio... have been handed a **** sandwich by past adminstrations in the form of lost jobs and lower wages. They were expected to ask for seconds on this election day again.

This time, they threw the sandwich back into the faces of the powers that be.

There is no greater indication of one's lack of intellectual depth than the ability to do something against one's own interests.

I notice that the Left always seems to know what's in my best interest. Even if I don't. I'm so grateful.

To blame the best, the strongest dem candidate is living in a state of denial. The denial that Hillary was the worst possible person to crown as president even before the primaries began. Sanders supporters were like trump supporters in that they wanted change. The only person who could have beat trump was sanders and the dem party, the DNC and Hillary hard core supporters were drunk on stupidity. The fault lies with your team, of which you belong to. The fault lies with your own lack of being connected with reality.

Most of sanders supporters, unlike Hillary supporters were smart enough to see the writing on the wall. And they were smart enough to discern what Hillary was, whereas her supporters didn't mind supporting such a criminal and pathological liar, which tells us as much about her supporters as anything.

Democrats should have run Joe Biden. He could have handled Trumps attack style very well. I don't care for Biden, but he's a tough old bird in a debate. He just laughed and sneered at Ryan, and would have done the same to Trump. Biden's real plus beyond that, plus no money or corruption scandals, is Biden knows how to talk to old white people. ANY bite into Trump's support among older white voters would have cost Trump the election. Biden is an old blue collar union Democrat, very old school.
Sanders would have scared the money people too much.

Your spelling on; "I don't really know any specifics, I just believed Republican lies because they were repeated endlessly and I keep up this mantra of how terrible she was to drown out the little voice telling me that I've helped turn the best country on Earth into Nazi Germany because I couldn't see through lying hype that shouldn't have fooled a six year old", is a little off

Books could be written about all the dishonesty Hillary has been associated with. Wait, they have.

I'm having a hard time processing that you could honestly ask this question. It never ceases to amaze me how extreme ideology can affect basic awareness.

There's been a book? Name it.

It never ceases to amaze me how some people will believe anything that's said often enough and by enough people, no matter how much of it is a lie and how often that lie is disproven. One of the favorite tactics of liars and Republicans, btw, is to act as if 'everybody' just knows the truth of his falsehood and anyone disagreeing is just SOOO stupid. "I just can't process that anyone still believes in liberalism, or evolution, or the Earth being round, etc, etc"

Just one book was referenced by the previous poster. Check. So let's move on to your other denial.

There are many lies associated with Hillary's rogue basement server setup. You know, the operation where Comey concluded that Hillary was extremely careless and negligent. In other words, she was derelict in major duties as Secretary of State. But I digress. Here are some of her verified lies:

Hillary said she never sent or received any classified information over her private e-mail. LIE.

Hillary said she used only one device for her communications. LIE. (She actually used several over her four year term).

Hillary said all work related emails were returned to the State Department. LIE.

Hillary said her lawyers read every one of the emails and were overly inclusive. LIE.

The above was from James Comey testimony. Read at your own peril:

    http://www.cnbc.com/2016/07/07/rep-...r-james-comey-on-hillary-clintons-intent.html

Hillary's most insidious lies were related to the Benghazi cover-up. She knew with 100% certainty that it was a planned attack, but she allowed Susan Rice to go on the Sunday show circuit and lie that it was all about an Internet video. The slimmest piece of this is when she told the video lie directly to the families of the dead at the casket ceremony.

Please don't insult the intelligence of those who actually pay attention to what's happening in the world. It's not polite. Will you at least verify that you've read and processed this?

She lost because she put all of her focus on areas she was already going to win anyway. She zoned in on California incredibly too hard. The idiot was going to win it no matter what.

She had to go places where she could fill the high school gyms she was making speeches at. Trump was drawing huge crowds, and Hillary couldn't draw flys. One of the reasons I predicted she would lose.

    Hillary didn't lose the election.

Hillary got beat by a candidate with a much better platform that appealed to the working and middle classes.

Hillary failed to campaign aggressively in Wisconsin, Ohio, Pennsylvania and other States.

Of course, one reason she failed to campaign heavily in those States is that she really didn't have a message for them.

Hillary (and her campaign) , obviously, made a lot of mistakes.

BUT, we can't rerun the election.

So, it is time to move on.

It's one thing for the candidates to attack one another but when they start attacking the American people, that is a big huge no-no.

Hillary's message was that she would be an Obama third term. But that wasn't what the working class wanted to hear. They wanted their fears and worries addressed. Trump did that. Obama won union household by 18 points over Romney, Hillary won them too, but by only 9 over Trump. I don't know how many union households there are in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. But by not carrying by the larger margin, ALA Obama, that probably cost her those three states.

That and the fact Hillary probably thought those three states were in the bag for her. That she didn't have to worry about them. Then she spent time and money in Georgia, Arizona and Utah trying to run up the score. It seems that tactic failed.
