he could offer them a $12k health voucher and a $12k education voucher, convertible to cash if not spent in one year, but he hasn't and no one has because there is not enough support.

    Think bigger.

“If anyone thought that $14 trillion in 2010 debt is bad, just wait until we hit $24.5 trillion in total US national debt in 2015. And it gets even more surreal: total US Unfunded Liabilities are estimated at $144 trillion, roughly $1.2 million per taxpayer... Was that a pin dropping?” ZERO HEDGE, “$24.5 Trillion In US National Debt, $144 Trillion In Unfunded Liabilities In... 2015,” by Tyler Durden, Dec 20, 2010.http://www.zerohedge.com/article/24...l-debt-144-trillion-unfunded-liabilities-2015.

What have Americans gotten for their $1.2 million in 2010 debt? What do we owe now?

A serious credible call for diverting revenue from the bureaucracy./crony capitalists to the productive working class would create a political juggernaut - if the transfer was large enough to actually end the healthcare worries of the working class. $12K would not do the trick.
