The proper response to the situation would have been to call in School Resource Officers, cops. At least two, maybe as many as four. First, no warning just see the shirt and Taser the idiot to the floor. Get in some pepper spray just to be thorough. Get him cuffed, leg irons and a dog leash and drag him into the school gym. Stop all classes and call an assembly.

When I was in public school in the 50s and early 60s, only cowards ganged up on an individual. We had a sense of fairness indoctrinated into us, from our schools, our neighbors, our peers, our parents and even tv programs. Values and principles, good ones, were taught to us from the time we got out of diapers, and we were conditioned by this sense of fair play. I think this has merit and is of great value, to any society. Yet that society is long gone, and perhaps never to return. To our detriment.

We fully well know, from sociological and psychological research what yields the healthiest, the strongest human society. And our own society seems to be completely ignorant of such principles, discovered by simple trial and error over time and the emergence of common sense and wisdom. It is a helluva thing. And the evidence can be seen in this yellow belly cowards way of fighting these days. We didn't gang up on one person long ago, because society, the entire society taught us this was highly unacceptable behavior and those that might do it, were shamed. But now? We are afraid of calling a spade a spade, for it might appear to be racially driven, or it might hurt someone's feelings to call a spade a spade.

I watched these changes in values and principles happen, as these changes took root. I have a grandson who loves to fight, and his friends will gather at his house and put on gloves and box. I have spent many hours emphasizing to these boys just how cowardly the ganging up on one person is cowardly behavior, and I have seen this take root with his friends. Sad to say, so few of their own parents even talked to them about this kind of cowardly, scumbag behavior. At least my daughter and son in law stressed this with my grand kids.

Boy oh boy have the times changed, with principles and values. But the "right" way of behavior has not changed. And I really do blame it on the influx of "hood" culture into our public schools. It seems that so many white kids think this kind of living and behavior is "cool" to bring back an old saying, and normal. And completely OK. I could not disagree more. But I figure these changes, to the lowest common denomination could not have happened if we had more vigilant, and principled parenting. So I hold parents accountable as well as the kids. And teachers for that matter, who these days perhaps are not allowed to teach principled behavior. My teachers sure taught it and was on it like white on rice. Stink on fecal matter.

 

Pretty sure Obama welcomed the NBP and race pimps like Sharpton with open arms. Him and the dems were also openly supportive of OWS, Antifa, etc.
