Fox News host Tucker Carlson said Smash Racism DC’s demonstration outside his Washington home Wednesday night was a threat to him and his family.

“It wasn’t a protest. It was a threat,” Carlson told The Washington Post. He added a video shared online by Smash Racism — since deleted — shows a woman saying she wanted to “bring a pipe bomb” to his house.

Demonstrators also blocked both ends of his street and carried signs with his home address printed on them, according to Carlson.

The Fox News host and founder of the Daily Caller was not home at the time of the mob’s arrival because he was preparing for his live evening show at the studio. But his wife was home and barricaded herself in the house's pantry because she feared a home invasion.

“I called my wife. She had been in the kitchen alone getting ready to go to dinner and she heard pounding on the front door and screaming,” Carlson said. “Someone started throwing himself against the front door and actually cracked the front door.”
