The issue isn’t so much the detention centers, it is what is going on in those centers. When you read stories about children being taken from their families and then lost because the entire administration is at best incompetent, rapes and death it is much different than illegals being detained for illegally crossing the boarder.

Why has the ability to put nuance in anything suddenly been lost?

Actually, the new guy said that there were no vaccines when he took office in spite of the fact that 30 million doses had already been administered, including the one that he personally received and that was televised.
