    Before leaving for the G-7, Trump said he would raise existing duties on $250 billion in Chinese products to 30% from 25% on Oct. 1. Additionally, he said, tariffs on another $300 billion of Chinese goods, which start to take effect on Sept. 1, will now be 15% instead of 10%.

    Trump says China sincerely wants a trade deal: 'I'm not sure they have a choice'

    As Trump heads home from the G-7 meeting one thing is perfectly clear. Trump has isolated himself from the leaders of the free world.

    Trump is at odds with the leadership of our allies when it comes to his burgeoning trade war with China, global recession, Russia and the G-7, climate change, Iranian nuclear deal, and trade.

    For the first time since its founding 44 years ago a joint communique will not be written because the leaders cannot come up with a consensus thanks to the American President.

    No doubt his base thinks this is progress. .

    No doubt Vladimir Putin was pleased with Trump's performance at the G-7.

    I'm weighing my options. Trump ain't one of them ;)

    One day Trump will be done and the GOP won't have anybody viable. Dumb Jr. or idiot Eric ain't it.

    So taking my tax money and giving it to farmers isn't a form of socialism? I'm quite certain I'm more educated than Trump who speak at at 5th grade level. ;)

    It's gotta eat Trump up that not only did Hillary win the popular vote (and popularity and numbers means everything to him)....

    but Obama crushed him 2 times.

    Of course, the main difference is Obama is actually a good and intelligent person who is beloved, and Trump is a ridiculous laughing stock with most people, aside from his base of whatevers.

    The problem? German Chancellor Angela Merkel and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi were both at the climate change session. We know this because there are photos of them.

    So what's the truth of the matter?

    Trump's official schedule showed he was supposed to attend a meeting with Merkel at 9.15am, then the climate change session at 10am and a meeting with Modi at noon.
