Arguing the facts indicates a poor education? Wow, spin much? Most people, when faced with such a clear dispute of what they thought was the truth, would either go away (on this issue, anyway) or do a little research of their own and maybe ... just maybe ... educate themselves.

No wonder you like Trump so much. When he makes wrong or misleading statements, he doubles down on the lie, too, as well as lashing out with derision and insult towards those who try to correct him.

Here's more history you may have missed in what you seem to think was your superior education.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-Fifths_Compromise

It seemed like the right thing to do at the time, but that was 240 years ago.

Actually believing one has the power to abolish the EC is closer to a sign of over education, aka liberal indoctrination. How is it living in Fantasyland?

It's more than just daddy issues, it's the constant comparison he felt both before and after the untimely death of his rebellious older brother.

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Family_of_Donald_Trump#Fred_Trump_Jr.

That would give any younger siblings issues, both about addiction and about pleasing daddy.

You're not too observant or you would have noticed the smartmouth warning before you started trolling my thread. All lefties seem to live in a state of perpetual disappointment things don't go their way.

I don't claim to have any power. Where did you get that idea? Projection?

There has to be overwhelming political will, as with all constitutional amendments. Perhaps you don't understand that process if you're deluded enough to think that one person can manage it.

How is it, living a life oblivious to facts? I'm done with you.

    Beautiful kids.

Always found it strange there are no pics of Barack with his young children. It's like they didn't exist until he got elected. How bizarre.

And therein is your problem. You use Wikipedia as a reliable source. Trust me on many things it is not. It is excellent for providing key words to do some real research, has some good lists, and every now and then actually gets something right. But it is also infused with a lot of misinformation or that which is skewed to produce a point of view without giving the alternate arguments. If you can't verify the information via other credible sources, it is best to not trust it. And it won't reliably educate you.

Meanwhile the President continues to appreciate honest history, traditions, and the value of the safeguards to our liberties that the Constitution provides. And that includes the electoral college.

If you don't like my source in that post, read the sources I linked earlier. Or better still, do your own research.

The EC has already failed us democratically twice in this century. We need to amend that. The EC's basis is mostly about counting slaves as part of the population in order for smaller colonies to have more say.

That wikipedia page is about Federalist Paper number 68. Have you read it?

With Wikipedia especially, one should check the footnotes, but it's a reasonable source for online forums like this one.
Geez, a nauseating paean to a guy who obviously only cares about himself.

If you were Junior, wouldn't you be weary of talking about your father? Junior doesn't act like it. He's quick with "My father said..." and "He taught me..." The entire family we see--Junior, Eric, Ivanka, Melania--seem to be intimidated by Trump.

One of the worst things you can do to yourself is to assume that no matter how crazy you act, there will not be consequence; that it can't happen. There can come a time where good and tolerant people have had enough- and they decide being nice and being tolerant has failed, and if they are to remain free- as the old country saying goes.... Katy, Bar the door.

I know a lot of people whose conversations lately have included fear for their children in the coming years because of our current surge of wackos, and many are very determined that those fears will not be allowed to control the future. Patriots and practical people understand that freedom is not free, and there will be times where it must be defended with total commitment. This is a rumble through society right now, one that should be warning people to rein in the childish outrage and bad conduct.

We should all hope that things don't come to that, but it is indeed dependent on how crazy people get.

Trump appeared at the 100th annual Veterans day parade in NYC-first President to do so.

But it is far more serious than just talking or acting crazy. The danger is in those who are so poorly educated or so enamored with the crazy talk that they are no longer capable of knowing or understanding the dangers within it. And they have so infiltrated our education system, our media, our scientific institutions, and our government that they have become a serious danger.

Those who plan to conquer us and impose a totalitarianistic socialism are actively or working to legitimatize or suppress or ban or materially erase and/or alter:

--Our ability to express and hold to our religious beliefs
    --Our speech
    --Our common sense
    --Our history
    --Our traditions
    --Our values
    --Our ability to defend ourselves
--Our ability to know the truth
--Our choices, options, opportunities in how we will make a living and live our lives.

Toward that end they have infiltrated and now control much of public education, the media, scientific institutions, and government.

And right now pretty much the only thing standing between them and us is President Donald J. Trump.

And Trump is of course not the solution, he is the precedent, setting a better course, and hopefully it will affect the view of Americans such that he will be followed by others with the same perceptions and objectives.
I believe that at this point, the left has deceived itself, blinded itself with it's own hostility to the point it no longer has a realistic grasp of the situation, and especially how the consequences of their direction will fall so heavily on them- both short and long term. All presidents are temporary, like navigators on a ship. Sometimes, it is vital that our course be corrected to avoid danger- that is what is happening, and it will take longer to complete than the limits of Trump's terms.

Unfortunately, the MSM and many Democrats (even some Republicans), have TDS. This is why Congress is not doing its job, and the MSM doesn't report news anymore. They are spending all their time witch-hunting.

There is no evidence. Provide it if there is.

Considering how the country is doing right now, and who else is running for President, Trump is the easy choice.

The economy, stock market, unemployment, etc. are all at record good numbers. Unemployment is even lower under Trump. Less people on welfare and food stamps.

He hasn't abandoned them. He is shifting priorities for those troops, and just happened to take out Thing One and Thing Two of ISIS. North Korea and China are works in progress. He is working on other countries too with trade deals and other policies. Got us out of several ridiculous international agreements too. Much more than Obama ever did.
