I actually just saw a British documentary on abortion and that's exactly what one of the women who was in there to get an abortion said.

She said if she actually gave birth she wouldn't be able to part with the baby, and that's why she was going to get an abortion.

Guess it was emotionally easier for her to know it was dead than know her child was out there somewhere.

Yup and that is NOT against the law so should not be punished.

NO! REALLY!!! HOW DID YOU FIGURE THAT OUT !!! WOW! WHAT A DISCOVERY!!!!

Now try to explain why anyone should not have sex...

I never said women were stupid or inept...they ARE human and have NO obligation to be perfect.

I do love your ridiculous comment about ""men have to think ahead"...HILARIOUSLY WRONG.....Ya, a HORNY guy always thinks ahead to whether he's impregnating a woman or not ! TOTAL BALDERDASH....

If it isn't part of her body ( hers) then WHOSE IS IT?

I have asked that question of every Anti-Choicer in this forum and NONE have answered.

Is it the government's ? Then THEY should pay for it cradle to grave. :)

Is it yours? Then you should pay for it :)

Stupid is expecting humans to stop having sex and "sick" is expecting them to be punished when they don't.

No, there's science so the day before it's born it's a fetus.

Yes, there is a huge difference but if you don't want to look up that difference so you can learn about it that isn't my problem.....

If there is no difference then why does it need 9 months gestation?

    I don't think it's cruelty either.

Cruelty would be taking away a person's right to their own body.

    .

Then let the Pentagon know you are against all wars and never use self defense to protect yourself.

I'm not pro war such a thing would be horrible. And using lethal force in self-defense is a last resort.

You shouldn't be afraid of science. And again I would rather be anti-choice then anti-life or pro-death however you want to see it.

Sorry we fundamentally disagree I think it's cruelty to murder a baby in the womb.

I'm not trying to change your mind you shouldn't bother trying to change mine you never will.

    YPPERS! A perfectly good reason.

BUT some Anti-Choicer say that the woman does not own the fetus, it isn't hers so when women give birth the government should pay for that kid from cradle to grave since it doesn't belong to the woman !

    Right? RIGHT! :)

Maybe it should be called woman's-right-to-choose-for-someone-else, to leave less ambiguity.

The whole premise of this thread seems to be based on the idea we should feel sympathetic towards the women who made this choice.

:) Thank you for admitting you lost the argument and have no facts....fully proven by the fact that you have to sink to attempted insults and go way off topic..

Don't worry, ALL Anti-choicers sink to that after their "arguments" are disintegrated with facts... :)

I'd rather be for freedom and liberty and rights for all instead of "playing god" by trying to take away other's rights....I don't believe in slavery...

Then you'd be pro-life. Murdering the unborn is anti-freedom, and it's playing God.

There is no "murdering the unborn". They are unborn so have no rights.

If it's murder why haven't you done your civic duty and called the police ? :)

Taking away people's rights because one doesn't agree with their philosophy is playing god and very evil.

Murdering someone in the womb it's taking away their rights.

Unlike playing god by killing babies.

Besides, no rights would be removed. All women apart from rape victims are free to avoid pregnancy.
