Ya, gee , it pays to READ and comprehend before spewing forth crap...

There are laws to ensure the safety of abortion....the same laws that ensure the safety of every other legal medical procedure...

OMGAWD! Did you think there weren't !!!!

The only protection for abortion needed is from those who want women's rights destroyed..

I see you "Liked" this post #922....that is really awful if you LIKE this:

"""""Peter Singer spoke of the right to terminate a child's life up until the age of 5.
If people want to televise executions to "show" people the nature of capital
punishment, can we also televise late term abortion?""""

Late term abortion for any 'health' reason where 'health' is not defined, is "normalised" in my opinion.

No I knew that there were laws to ensure the safety of abortion, but do you agree with them?

How does that mean that I like what the guy said?

Except, after 24 weeks you don't think that she has the right to abortion!

Why TF would anyone think that "health" isn't defined? You think doctors just spin a dial and wherever it lands they call that "health"??? WTF...

Why is it so hard for you to grasp the fact that I disagree with later term abortion, but that I believe that it is her body her choice ? She can choose. I dont have a right to inflict my moral judgments on her, as it is her body her choice.

YES, if there is a health/life issue for either her or the fetus she STILL has a choice.

The law against aborting a healthy fetus after 24 weeks is unnecessary as mentally healthy women don't do that.

Life is life. If you don't want to get pregnant, then don't have sex. Simple as that.
There's also these things called "condoms".....and they are pretty freeking cheap. A hellofa lot cheaper than going to a doctors office or being saddled with a screaming kid.

If you want to be unconscionable abominations, then go get spayed or neutered.

Murder of a life is murder of a life, no matter what size that life is.

...which means she should be allowed to have an abortion after 24 weeks all the way until the end.

So, a mother could kill her kid when they are 45 years old then, and it's still "her right"?
    Thats what I'm hearing here.

Only in New York and Virginia I'm pretty sure. Everywhere else, it is only if the mothers life is at risk.

Yes, because never in the history of the world has a woman wanted an abortion the day after the 24 week mark has passed! :roflol:

Well you did say that there should be "no laws" for abortion, so I was just checking. Surely saying "NO laws" is a bit of a generalisation.

Why does 'liking' a post have to mean LIKING any negative things contained within the post?

"Health" is pretty broad isn't it? If a woman said that they don't FEEL like having a baby, isn't that health?

If the doctor's "opinion and the woman's opinion are the only ones that count", then they should be able to do whatever they want!

That's at odds with the Supreme Court's scientific definitions of life and death.

Early on, the fetus has a brain stem but no brain and since there are no brain-waves, an abortion is nothing but a medical procedure.

At about 22 weeks, there brain-waves outside the brain stem and the fetus is a conscious being aware of its own existence. An abortion at that point, except to save the mother's life, would be murder, just as late term abortions would be.
