Yes, they collect donations, too.

 

I do not believe your "fair game" comment.

And, let's remember that all Americans DO have constitutional rights of equal treatment, etc.

So, when those are abrogated there does become a reason for federal action.

Of course the military isn't the first step. But, civil rights has gone WAY beyond first steps. America has been HUGELY deferential to those who violently oppose constitutional civil rights and have been that way since our very foundation.
