From the basic information Trump has put out there....He cannot and will not do the things he claims.

The very few detailed actions will force another recession which will be repaired with our taxation (and he and his buddies don't contribute to those).

The last Republican president left Obama an economy that was tanking at a -9% real rate, losing 700,000+ jobs a month, unemployment was 7.8% skyrocketing upward, and the stock markets and housing markets were crashing in the worst recession in 80 years. The deficit was running at $1.2 trillion, soon projected to hit $1.9 trillion, the housing market was destroyed, and the economy was headed straight for a depression.

But now the the private sector has added more jobs every month for a record 77 months in a row, stock markets are up about 180% from their recession lows to record highs, corporate profits have hit all time highs, we've gained back all the jobs lost in the recession and millions more, the housing market is recovered, the deficit has been cut by more two thirds, the unemployment rate has fallen from 10% to 4.9%, the economy is growing steadily, and 15 million additional private sector jobs have been added since Jan 2010.

Exactly what is Donald and his supporters going to "blame" Obama for?

He's a con man with a history of serial lying.

Do people really expect that he will do what he promised? The duped and conned, maybe.

yeah I remember Bush passing Gramm-Leech-Bliley, the death nail to our economy.
I also remember Bush having Brooksley Borne removed as the chairman of the CTFC when she blew the whistle on the exploding derivatives positions on the books of Hillary's banker buddies.

This is an unfortunate truth which will not effect his TrumpHumper Army even while he is on trial. Can you imagine the media storm as the POTUS to be walks into a courtroom?

Hang on, dearies, best I can tell, this is what he intends to do. More massive tax cuts. Big ones for the big cigars, little ones for the middle class (all dressed up as big ones). You and I will probably be able to afford a new toaster oven out of the deal. Iow, Bush43 reprised. Maybe he can get Mexico to pay for the $10 trillion in new debt. Maybe not. Who cares, here comes Great Recession Part Deux. The first one was so much fun.

And the delusional illogical liberal Left continues to pee and moan about Trump and cry into It's collective Beer rather than drink it.

Too late GM announced a few thousand layoffs. That is probably the beginning of the Trump caused recession.

I really don't see how a thriving economy can be built on hate.

And, hate has been what has held the Trump crowd together. Without that, I really don't see what else could hold them together.

You preferred it when the economy was losing 700,000 jobs a month like when the last Republican president left office?

Maybe Donald will give you what you want.

Trump took Michigan for a reason and his economic policies make some sense. America has lost too much by freeing up its market to China. Putting up protect tariffs on Chinese imports could revive the manufacturing sector and create factory jobs in states like Michigan. Donald Trump has proposed a 45 percent tariff on imports from China, which would protect American jobs in theory. Japanese car companies ended up in moving their factories to the US after facing a similar protective measure in the Reagan era, which created auto jobs in America. Maybe the Chinese would be forced to set up their factories in the US, thus hiring American workers.

The people choose Clinton, and their words have been denied.

We can just pray that the Charlatan doesn't (*)(*)(*)(*) things up as badly as the last Republican you all put in office.

all that we kept hearing was "no path to 270" as the premature celebrations of continuing to shred the Constitution rang loud among leftists.

It now seems that "no path to 270" was for the failed liberal ideology.

If Trump behaves like a true CEO and looks for results, then we all will benefit. If the objective is bigger govt and less liberty then I can understand why you are upset.

What makes you think Reagan had protectionist polices? He was anti-regulations. And Toyota has four American assembly plants. One of those were built during the Reagan era. One during Clinton. One during Bush, and one during Obama. Additionally, I did a report on them... and they diversify their locations to reduce risk... according to their 10k. It's the opposite of American companies, which tried to utilize the Mexican cheap labor.
