    P. M. Justin Trudeau and his administration did decide to give over ten million dollars to Mr. Omar Khadr......... and it sure does seem as if Canada is going through a phase of intellectually dishonest positive media coverage for Muslims......... who are obviously almost as anti-Semitic as many of Hitler's leadership team!

and then here you are being biased and misleading....the government didn't decide to "give" Kadhr his payout, they had no choice...the government had absolutely no prospect of winning the Kadhr lawsuit which would cost taxpayers millions to contest, your "give" was actually a legal settlement...which never would've been necessary had the harper regime acted in accordance to constitutional law and protected Kadhr from torture and illegal prosecution...the payout was all Harpers fault...

and before you pick on the star maybe you'd want to address the thinly disguised conservative propaganda rag that is the Sun media chain...

what? change the constitution?...dream on....do you not grasp the definitive legal nature of the constitution? ...I knew even before Kadhr's return to canada there was going to be a significant consequence for harpers ignorance of the law...

All he would have to do is hire a good team of lawyers and delay and delay and delay and delay the process......

Or better yet....... get the family of the USA medical officer that Khadr pretty much admitted he murdered..... (there was nobody else there that could have thrown the grenade)..........to counter sue and take all ten million......... plus another few million on top of it!

you're clearly someone whose never looked at the facts...
1-the grenade tosser was initially identified by us troops as being another man who was killed at that spot, then the witness changed his story.
2-Kadhr was buried under the rubble of a collapsed building with a hole in his chest, how does a nearly dead kid throw a grenade from under the rubble?
3-No one could definitively say that the fatality wasn't from friendly fire.
4-Kahdr was a child in illegal detention and tortured all three are human rights violations, pleading guilty was the only way out for him...if he was tried in the continental USA he would've been released as the whole trial/torture scenario was illegal/unconstutional even under US law...
5-Kadhr was charged with breaking laws that did not exist, they were invented after the fact which wouldn't be accepted as legal in any court of law

had this gone through the canadian court system as you suggest court costs alone would have cost millions and the government would have still lost...and then would face an annoyed supreme court most likely would've awarded a larger settlement and punitive damages on top of that...

this was your false god's fault(harper) he was playing to the red meat mouth breathers of his base...had he petitioned for Kadhrs release as every other western country did for their people being held in detention, there would've been no financial payout required...
so put the blame of a payout were it belongs, on harper and his mouth breathers...
