What does phaseout of expanded medicaid REALLY mean? Besides me being dead?

So, since you are not Christian, you feel that exempts you from humanity? Interesting.

Well you may have had one of the interpretation moments, but I haven't seen any "ALL Right wingers" but there is plenty of data to prove that Republicans are far more generous than Leftists by a large margin! It's the whole "Give them an inch and they take a mile" liberal mentality that's eating at and degrading the charity the Repubs have willingly "Given" for over a hundred years..

No matter how much is given to a leftist they will always try and us Gubmint to extract more from the generous! To bad mirrors no longer reflect guilt as they did 70 years ago, must be when they replaced their coating of soul reflecting silver with beer can aluminum ;)

Why is this even an issue. Obamacare won. Expanded Medicaid is still going strong.

The right wing, and Republicans, are again, trying to rally their dispirited troops, to repeal. They cant accept their lumps.

We are the ones that work and pay taxes that go to welfare and medicaid so yes, conservatives are the charitable ones.

I guess that explains why liberals tend to be so much more educated than yer average conservative. After all, people like Einstein have always had a liberal leaning.

You should call him la Trumpa. You see in Mexican lexicon "el Trumpo" would imply a bad ass. La Trumpa makes him a sissy.

Ever been to a physicist's convention? People from all over the world, of every race, all of them highly intelligent, Nary a conservative among them.

By the way, hello Mr. Racist.

You need to move to my country, Guyzpantz. Our nationalised health care is not means tested, and our public hospitals are the best hospitals. You wouldn't use a private hospital here for anything important. Even those who think that stuff matters (posers, new money, etc) will have their surgery in a public hospital, then transfer to private for their recuperation.

Anyway, the point is that it doesn't need to be means tested because it self-regulates. In any given population, there will always be a proportion of people (posers and new money) who still think in terms of the mid-20thC, when private health care was a mark of prestige and some sort of specialness. These idiots will always pay through the nose for private health insurance, just so they can tell their friends they 'went private' for that hip replacement. That leaves the public system freed up for those of us who are more concerned with the quality of their health care (and the freeness!).

In fact there are so many idiots in this country, that health insurance companies still make a good living. They've never received a cent from my family, happy to say :p

Oddly enough, I have (well, a pure maths and physics one). I can assure you, there were VERY few Progressive types there. About 90% were uber square.

Actually not. It is actually a lie that conservatives like to tell themselves. However when one looks into it, it is liberals who are the ones making all the money. Bill Gates, the richest man in America is a liberal, and the best kind, a freethinker.

Here in Oregon, it is the liberal cities that are subsidizing the conservative rural counties. Across the country, there are more SNAP and Medicaid recipients in red areas than in blue areas.

Liberals like to brag how much 'help' they give with other people's money. They tell themselves the lie that they are 'compassionate' yet most of the money goes to fanny-sitting liberal inspired bureaucrats. In CA it's is the liberal counties that provide no representation for conservative issues.

Is that convention headquartered in Compton? Just curious.

BTW, not a conservative in that whole city.

Maybe California should spend it's money on citizens instead of non-citizens and Eric Holder?

Wrong word choice. The word you're looking for is indoctrinated. Einstein in today's parlance would have been more libertarian than what you faultily call liberal. Don't forget Universities which used to be bastions of actual liberalism are now bastions of far left robo think.

Yes but they are mostly liberal nonetheless.

You see, conservatives have long been deluding themselves into thinking liberals are other than they are.

Here in America, the left is generally divided into two groups - those concerned with intellectual issues, and those concerned with the welfare of society. Or liberals and progressives. This can be seen in Colorado, where Boulder is intellectual and Denver is highly concerned with social welfare. Incidentally, both are in the top five, economically, of American cities.

Liberalism grew out of the scientific world view that came into existence during the Enlightenment. This scientific worldview is in comparison to the religious worldview that conservatives tend to cling to. Sure enough, when one looks into it, less than 10% of physicists pay attention to religion. Same with the members of the National Academy of Sciences.

Liberal make up only about 20% of the population. As I like to point out, only so many can fit on the leading edge of the bell curve.

Look at places like Boulder Colorado and Silicon Valley if you really want to see what a liberal dominated society looks like. Liberals tend to be well educated and non-religious. Not exactly characteristics of a conservative. Instead of just spouting what one believes, one can look into the things. Like the fact that every science popularizer, like Iassic Asimov, Richard Feynman, Carl Sagan, Steven Hawking, Lawrence Krauss, Brian Green, and Neil Degras Tyson have all been clearly liberal leaning. As were Einstein, Oppenheimer, Schrodenger and all the rest.

You don't have to believe me. There are biographies out there on just about every physicist that ever s mattered. Overwhelmingly physicists are liberal leaning.

It is this highly educated, non-religious characteristic that makes so many Chinese immigrants so liberal leaning.

Like the lack of self respect that comes from denying fossil fuel burning caused global warming by using fraudulent data.

That is how California ended up having the largest economy in the country. If you want conservatism you can find plenty of it in our third world states, like in the south and Kansas.
