Nobody knows how much Trump earned in any given year of his life, but we do know that for eight years between 1985 & 1994, Trump paid zero income taxes. Since he's refused to discuss taxes or income openly since announcing his candidacy in 2015, none of us knows the details. Trump made several claims for large donations to non-profit organizations during his campaign, but several that were researched by the media proved to be false claims. Trump lies about something almost every time he opens his mouth to speak. How many of your examples are real & how many are more lies from the con man in the White House? Nobody knows for sure.

Trump was rich since birth, & brought that wealth into the White House with him. Obama was born poor. His mother was on welfare for a brief period during his childhood. His car had a hole in the passenger side floor when he first started dating Michelle. While President, Obama's only personal income was from his Presidential salary, though Michelle may have had income I'm not familiar with.

While it is admissible for a defendant to offer evidence in his/her defense during an investigation, it is generally in the actual trial phase that such evidence is presented. The House investigations were simply to determine whether there was sufficient evidence to warrant charges against the President. Trump was repeatedly invited to present evidence or offer testimony in his own behalf. He rejected every offer. The House has no authority to determine guilt or innocence. That is left to the Senate. If you're concerned about Trump defending himself, then convince Senate Republicans to allow it. Democrats aren't blocking it from happening. And, it's in the Senate where that's all supposed to take place.

    1. Isn't working to "keep Obama from being successful" synonymous with "obstruction"?
    2. Any talk of impeachment between January 2017 & June 2019, was equally "squelched" by Speaker Pelosi. McConnell & Boehner never supported impeachment because there was never evidence of wrongdoing under Obama. But in the Summer of 2019, evidence surfaced that Trump did engage in illegal acts & abused his power as President for personal gain. The difference here is evidence, & our judicial system is supposed to follow the evidence.

I disagree. I watched the video of Trump asking Russia to hack Hillary's emails, & I watched & listened to Trump on the lawn of the White House ask China & Ukraine to investigate Biden. Trumpsters are the ones living in a dream world.

You just proved why he didn't want to release his tax returns. Either you don't understand or you are simply a hack and purposely want to use general ignorance of tax to make a point. In a given year, if his properties generated $1B in operating profit but lost $1B in value, he had no income. Would the media be honest about the reality of depreciation rules that apply to everyone?

Trump's father was never a billionaire. Obama made a fortune on the US taxpayer. Trump will lose money on the gig whether or not his properties generate a profit.

Well that is pretty much correct. Except a credible investigation would look into both sides of the potential charge. Have you ever heard of an investigation where the officers talked only with the accusers and not the accused, or the accused supporters in the president's case?

This video proves that only Trump, so far, is held to some of those standards, since Biden was bribing Ukraine and he admits it. It also proves they the Democrats believe the President has the right to withhold funding, since Biden also admits that.

I suppose to keep a president for fundamentally changing the government you probably have to do things that would be obstruction. But this style of obstruction happens every day between congress and the executive branch and there is nothing illegal or untoward about it. It is not relevant to the obstruction the Dems are accusing Trump of.

An impeachment resolution was submitted in the House in early 2017. And their was talk of impeachment by leaders of the House throughout the Mueller investigation. Pelosi never shut any of that down like both McConnell and Boehner did.

There were many impeachable offenses committed by Obama. Lying to the public in a perjurious manner over Obamacare was much more egregious than what Nixon's articles accused him of. Secondly his lying and causing others to lie about a military assault on our sovereign soil is similarly more egregious than Nixon's "lying" He admitted to violating the Constitution with his Dreamers Executive Order. Then there is the general where any president who openly disdains the Constitution and promises to fundamentally change the government is not quite upholding his oath of office. These for starters.

Trump was joking about Hillary's dog eating her 30,000 subpoenaed emails and suggested tongue in cheek that the media, not him, would like it if Russia had them and turned them over. Asking help in investigating possible criminal activity in no way is asking for help in an election. It happens all the time. The fact that it was Biden in this case is just coincidental. Trump needs no assistance in beating Biden, a maybe potential opponent. Is that why Biden confessed to his crime on video? Because as a potential candidate his fellow Dems and the media would give him a get out of jail free card????

The House committees involved tried getting several witnesses close to the President & assumed supporters of the President, to testify, but the President forbade it, under an Executive Order. So, whose fault is it that no one heard their testimonies?

they had enough to impeach on in the house, the Senate will have to call the witnesses and doc Trump is blocking if they feel they need more

no, you ask Trump why he went to a foreign government vs his own FBI, why he only wanted an announcement vs an actual investigations, why he held up funds

asking a foreign government to investigate your political opponent while holding up funds does not happen, should not happen

Biden helped get the Chief Investigator fired because he WASN'T doing enough to investigate corruption in Ukraine--including Burisma. Republicans have twisted this fact around to make it appear the opposite--for political purposes. I know political parties & politicians themselves are frequently dishonest, but I'm just overwhelmed by the amount of falsehoods & lies, coupled with outright deceit generated daily by Trump & his supporters. It surpasses anything I've ever witnessed in my lifetime.

The president properly refused to participate in a kangaroo trial without due process which is required by the Constitution.

The senate does not have to do anything. They will listen and then decide. The house could have done all of this to start with, but they chose not to for whatever reason.

What aspect of "due process" do you feel the House was ignoring?

Sorry, I haven't the time or inclination to run a seminar on due process.

Under Trump, they were totally & undeniably related, & that means Trump was forcing the Ukraine President to investigate Biden in order to get military aid already approved by Congress to save his country from a Russian invasion. Ukraine gave up their nuclear weapons after the fall of the USSR in response to a promise of support against any Russian threat given them by our President at the time--GHW Bush--a REPUBLICAN. Trump ignored that American commitment, & showed a complete lack of concern for any promises America had made as a world power, prior to his administration. Trump dishonors America's word. Trump dishonors every President who preceded him. Trump dishonors every ideal America has stood for for centuries. By supporting Trump in this dishonor, Trumpsters join him in weakening America as a nation, & its Constitution.

Several of the professional witnesses who testified before Congress confirmed this. Biden did this at the request of the leadership of the EU, & several countries of W Europe independently. Biden was working with our European allies to do this. Trump just attacks our friends while praising our historic enemies. Biden worked with our friends. How can you or anyone consider Trump the good guy in this?

You join in Republican attacks on Democrats for lack of due process, but neither they nor you can specify how due process was abridged. Shame.:(
