Better a private sector company than federal government. Businesses have competition and consequences for their actions. Not so with federal government.

Private sector control of healthcare from an access and cost standpoint has been an unmitigated disaster.

I agree. I believe it will be even worse after government takes it over. We should find ways to reduce the cost of healthcare instead of believing that a different boss make everything OK.

Of course you do. And the medical lobby in DC couldn't be more pleased their propaganda has paid off.

I don't know why. My opinion didn't come from a lobbyist. It came from decades of common sense land experience.

Yes! Because the private sector insurance that your boss chose (which is the only “choice” most Americans actually get) costs twice as much as any government provided health care does, and doesn’t cover you fully (government provided health insurance does)!

Now there’s results we can all cheer for!

You are comparing private sector insurance with affordable deductibles to Obamacare that people can't use because they can't afford the deductibles.

No. You’re just trying to put words in my mouth.

People in every developed country in the world pay half what you pay for health care. And they get full coverage too. No deductibles at all.

Deductibles and co pays, medical bankruptcy, and confusing collections of PPO’s HMO’s etc, are only things that people in the United States have to deal with.

And what does events in other countries have to do with the U.S. Every bit of a national economy affects health care. That isn't the same in every country. For example how do housing costs compare. etc. etc.

In 2017 Repubs controlled the WH and Congress but failed to agree on a ACA replacement. Since then they have not put forward a comprehensive replacement.
