I would ask you to go spread your racism on another thread.

Last I checked, Paddock, McVeigh, Crusius, Kelley and so many others were perfectly white.

And yet, they killed a huge number of innocent people.

Yeah. We have the "exceptional" freedom to go into a school and kill 19 children.

That's NOTHING to be proud of.

You're taking a few people and comparing it to the totality of gun violence in the USA. Mere fractions and I'm going through statistical data. If you're going to clutch your pearls to the truth go do so somewhere else where you can shout in a le reddit echo chamber.

Because I know enough to know that racists have longed used geopolitical difference as an excuse to be racist. All you’re doing is continuing an American tradition far older and more withstanding than any of us.

Geographical distances are a clear indicator of cultural and genetic spread. Are you going to tell me an Aboriginal from Australia has more in common with an Englishman than a Swede?

Are you going to deny the historical data that shows that when given the right material people will do fine?

Material as in funds, resources, etc? If that were true places south of the Sahara would've had long standing structures, the people would've had a written language, and had an actual civilization located there. The same could be said for Australia. It only took foreigners to show up and create civilization beyond that of the stone age. You would've seen the same progression in NA/SA but that never occurred. People were still using Obsidian and never had any metal working skills. They were primarily a bone/stone/obsidian civilizations even though the materials were all around them.

“Some recent studies date the inception of iron metallurgy in Africa between 3000 and 2500 BCE.[1][2] Evidence exists for earlier iron metallurgy in parts of Nigeria, Cameroon, and Central Africa, possibly from as early as around 2,000 BCE.[2] Some evidence from historical linguistics suggests that the Nok culture of Nigeria may have practiced iron smelting from as early as 1000 BCE.[3][4] The nearby Djenné-Djenno culture of the Niger Valley in Mali shows evidence of iron production from c. 250 BCE. The Bantu expansion spread the technology to Eastern and Southern Africa during c. 500 BCE to 400 CE, as shown in the Urewe culture[5] of the Lake Victoria region.”

You assume that because they didn’t develop like the west they weren’t developed. Such ethnocentric attitudes were responsible for atrocities after atrocities. You can’t paint an entire area of the world like that.

Here is a link that might help you to improve your understanding.

    https://www.africanworldheritagesites.org/cultural-places/ancient-sub-saharan-civilisations.html

    Here is another one:

    https://www.history.com/news/dna-study-finds-aboriginal-australians-worlds-oldest-civilization

You have a personal notion of what constitutes a 'civilisation' but others have a different viewpoint, yours is not necessarily correct.

Predictably snotty reply. So, I'll make it a point to remember the wholly-inaccurate crap you accused me of, and return it back to you 'in kind' one day.

People are restricted by morality AND the rule of law. The immoral don't care about the law. And, you do have the freedom to drive on either side of the road. Freedom is dangerous, though, so there may be consequences, legal and physical, that make it rather unwise to do so.

    I agree with this.
There are two kinds of restriction I suppose, the cop in the head and the cop on the road.

What the Nazis did had nothing to do with the Treaty of Versailles, but you knew that.... Suggest you refresh your understanding of what Hitler did, and why. There's lots of accurate information out there if you look for it, and you may want to start with this:

This goes to prove Mr. Bilston has never been in the parts of the US away from the stink of the cities.

I know, I have experienced purple mountains majesty and all the glory of what nature has blessed this country with. What a shame that you think this is any type of representation of this country. Shall we get into the stereotypical depictions of what other countries are?

Of course there are magical parts of the country - but I can fully understand how some living outside the US sees 'guns' as an apt depiction. If you were to choose just one image to depict America - as the author has done - what would you choose?

Pretty clear, America is not well likes on this planet.. Think about it, something tragic happens in the U.S. and the foreigners take no time to talk us down, blame the entire country for something a few loons do!! Clearly PF demonstrates how the U.S. is just a pissing post for every country, foreigner and American poster looking to label anyone not in lock step with their agenda a shitheel..

Yes, you could look at this with the eyes of a victim. A victim of criticism and scorn internationally. Or you could spend some time introspectively, wondering WHY they think that way. Just as we do in our personal lives. If enough people are critical of some trait I possess, I think about it. Is this trait something that truly offends people? And do I want to continue offending people? How married to that 'trait' am I? Is it something I could alter in some way? Do I want to?

There are many questions we could ask ourselves, as Americans. And I think we should.

You could! I don't see it as a victim at all. I see it as just another excuse to bad mouth every American for the actions of a lunatic..

Remember this? It really is quite obvious Sir ;) I mean for all Americans have done for the world this is your go to depiction of us. Pretty messed up if you ask me! But hey, some see us as saviors, providers of sustenance, medical, money and American blood defending those without means to protect themselves!

And what do you post America is a Gun. Well aint that special ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I was recognizing the exaggerations seen so many times from the left when an argument becomes out of reach for them so its on to Great big automatic weapons and Thermonuclear weapons. lol
The 2nd speaks for itself. No, I do not think eliminating the 2nd amendment because an idiot with a gun.
If you were really concerned with the problem instead of the lefts political regurgitations you would start to realize the problem instead of trying to capitalize on it.
