What pets do you have?

No, it is going to be a week of pure puppy love.

 

How exciting to have 10 puppies to watch. God truly smiled and might have even winked.

 

She doesn’t pose as well as your dog. LOL

 

She is a beautiful dog. How is she doing with her new brood of puppies?

She is doing well. Starting to gain a little weight actually because the pups are eating some food now. I’ll try and get pics tomorrow if I get a chance. They are changing fast. Developing their unique personalities etc. I’m always amazed at how different full sibling littermates can be.

 

Animals are amazing especially dogs. Puppies are especially delightful.

The puppy in the front of the picture is he the alpha of the litter? They are gorgeous and all the praise to their Mama she did good.

This is my border collie who is a big clown. He is a smile a minute dog.

 

I just adopted a throw away dog. Someone must have dropped him off and run. He stayed around hungry after we tried to run him off. Even the neighbor shot at him. He didn't have the heart to shoot him. Well.....I just couldn't stand to see him hungry. He is a lean and powerful dog with a lot of pit bull in him. Almost scary to look at. He is the sweetest dog and he seems to naturally know how to keep goats in line. Pics later maybe.

 

My wife and I retired from San Diego and moved to Texas a little over five years ago. The previous owners had coy ponds and local cats apparently viewed the ponds like movie theatres. Many just kept coming around. e put out food. We arrived here with to cats we brought from California. We made more and more cat friends as time went by. We now have 12 totally indoor cats and love 'em all.

 

Being hungry and having someone shooting at you must have been terrifying for the dog. He will bond to you or someone in your family and become a wonderful pet. He will remember who took him in and fed him.

Some of the best dogs we have had were throw aways and I had to wonder how could someone throw away such a treasure of an animal. We took in one that had been shot and he turned into a prince of a dog. I have no use for people that throw away animals, dogs, cats, pigs or whatever animal they don't want.

 

He is still just as special today as he was at 8 weeks old and he was pretty special back then.

 

This is our tracking cat when we are out on the Gator UV he will track us down, see the picture. He loves a ride.

 

Here is another picture of the sire of the puppies. This weanling mini donkey really likes him. They were frolicking yesterday.

 

It is amazing to watch animals form friendships.

How are the puppies coming along? Are you going to keep any of them to train?

 

We will probably keep one. Took these this morning at “breakfast”.

 

I was never a good sport about getting rid of puppies. I wanted to keep all of them.
