What privilege does the rich have and how do they screw the rest 99%?

Do they have an army of voltron-sized super-robots? Do they have laser-beams, X-ray vision, telekinesis?

No, they don't, they just happen to have more money. In other words, the only thing separate you and the wealthy, is money.

Now, the very embarrassing part: why don't you have that much money? Oh, wait, it's because your labor worth just that much.

Really? Then who is paying them? The director boards, right? Why the director boards would rather pay that monkey, who happened to have stayed in business for over 20 years, graduated from Wharton, with abundant referable records of good performances and decisions, but not you? Who went to college for a degree in comparative literature, drunk tons of beer, skipped tons of classes, almost dropped out, graduated with no marketable skills whatsoever?

And how do they screw the rest 99%? Oh wait, using — not robotic armies or giant gerbils, but money! How to accomplish that...? I wonder... Oh wait, I got it, the time you failed to go to the college, it must've been a rich man hired someone using a scrambling ray that messed up your head when you were taking the SAT! And he must have invented the baseball, hockey and football for you to skip all those math classes so you could watch those reruns! It must be, right?

Ok... so that's not really the case either, so, you know, the rich must have done something bad for ya, right? I mean, how come it's your fault that you suck? It must be someone else's fault! Wait, the government! The rich had the government in their pocket! I knew it! What? let's not go any further? Why? That's a sound reason!... oh, you rely the government to give you food stamps? You want it to be even bigger? You think the government would work for you instead of the rich?

 

The laws as written, offer the wealthy advantages which are not afforded most other Americans.

 

Liberals say the rich force the poor to screw and have more babies they can't afford to feed and care for.

It's true! I once saw Warren Buffett and Bill Gates physically ramming two poor people together in one of the ghetto's of Detroit!

 

Simple: They're on the government dole. For example, they pocket everyone else's taxes via the landowner free handout parasite system where taxes are levied on production rather than the economic rent of land. The taxes are then spend on infrastructure and services which makes land more desirable where those are provided and thus the taxes ultimately crystallize as land value and go into the pockets of the rich who own most of the valuable and the most valuable land.

 

Don't forget to wipe your chin.

 

How about lobbying a governor with huge campaign contributions so he will go on a crusade to bust up a teacher's union.

So the argument is that the Government that you believe needs to be massively expanded to serve the needs of the poor is exactly the same metastic mass which can then provide the wealthy the advantages which you believe have caused such a massive disadvantage to the poor.

And yet you continue to support the notion of giving more money to said Government.

I would like to point out many of the poor population do become wealthy.

One should not blame their failures on others, instead strive to do better and become one of the wealthy men you complain about.

So? It doesn't cost you anything unless you look to the government for your livelihood. I am not rich. I make about average. I have a house. I have a car. I have food. I have health insurance that is paid for out of my own pocket alone. My bills get paid on time. I own some stocks. Bill Gates' "advantages" have nothing to do with me being able to provide for my own livelihood on what I am sure is less than what some here who constantly bellyache about the rich make a year. I live within my means. I do not define myself in relation to what other people have or do or get. I couldn't care less if Oprah were a trillionaire. I don't need to keep up with the Kardashians or the Fake Housewives, and I totally reject the idea the the liberal intelligentsia, MSNBC, or anybody else thinks I should have more than I have or that I am somehow downtrodden because I actually have to make wise financial decisions instead of splurging on weekends at the Vineyard or a Mercedes or whatever illusion of a "fair wage" they can wrap their addled celebrity/millionaire minds around.

If the rich are screwing the poor because they can buy politicians, the fault is primarily with the venal politicians.
