It is a very simple paradigm with only two possible outcomes:

1) You approve of taxation and that might makes right. This means you have no issue with legalized theft and you ate okay with forcing otherwise peaceful people's into wage slaveey.

2) You do not believe in taxation. You believe that taxation is theft legal or not. Youare fine with allowing otherwise peaceful people's to pursue their own self interests even if it means voluntarily association for their mutual benefit but you respect right to shatter those bonds as you believe in freedom of association.

Many societies take paths that can lead to self-destruction. The majority of the time they take corrective actions before they get to that point, of course.
