It is a very simple paradigm with only two possible outcomes:

    1) You approve of taxation and that might makes right. This means you have no issue with legalized theft and you ate okay with forcing otherwise peaceful people's into wage slaveey.

    2) You do not believe in taxation. You believe that taxation is theft legal or not. Youare fine with allowing otherwise peaceful people's to pursue their own self interests even if it means voluntarily association for their mutual benefit but you respect right to shatter those bonds as you believe in freedom of association.

On the Preamble! Pure socialism is that darn Preamble!

    Nope.

Yeah. Says so right there on the Hippocratic Oath "I swear by Apollo to treat only whoever the hell I want...".

I'm kidding, of course. Doctors can work or not work. Up to them. If they want to do private practice only and not participate in Social medicine, it's their choice. No idea where you got that it would be otherwise.

Back for more of a whipping, eh?

It ain't in the preamble... or anywhere else, other than in your fevered imagination.

You like that non-argument: "Nonsense!" I guess it's easier than responding intelligently to a reasonable argument.

You're getting angrier, btw. Don't blow a gasket... unless you have good private health insurance.

If the society of Salem didn't think that killing those accused of witchcraft promoted the existence of the community of human beings, then why would their society do such a thing?

Don't box him in, or he'll take his ball and go home. I kinda enjoy watching him lash out.

No. You have no option. You give her your money, or you don't get the goods. Same thing.

If I don't want the goods, then I don't give her my money. It's voluntary on my part. My option.

She's not taking anything from me. I'm voluntarily giving her my property. It's called trading.

Don't tell that to me. Tell that to the ballot box. Here we discuss why.

Wrong... as always.... The words belong to former Senator and former Nixon adviser Daniel Patrick Moynihan

Oh My God.... Your strawman arguments are as ridiculous as they are endless.

BTW, putting words in somebody else's mouth is against forum rules. I don't personally mind. Because the fact that you have been left with nothing but strawman arguments illustrates how you dug yourself into an argumentative hole. But doing it in quotes, as if I had actually said that... that is just plain dishonest.

    It didn't. Ecclesiastic authorities did.

Not to mention that your premise is inaccurate. You assume that everything that all societies do contributes to social cohesion. That is incorrect. Many societies take paths that can lead to self-destruction. The majority of the time they take corrective actions before they get to that point, of course. Or corrective actions are taken from outside. Nazism, Dark Ages, Khmer Rouge, ...

That's right. You don't want to give money to that supremarket, you go to another. You don't want to pay taxes in this country, you go to another. No difference.

And that other supermarket also can't take my property. Apparently there are certain special people who have the right to take my property. How did the super-special people acquire this right that neither you nor I have?

No, the state authorities did. Local magistrates and members of the governor's council. So the society, through their government, killed the witches.
They wouldn't do it if it didn't contribute to social cohesion. Societies only act in a way that promotes social cohesion.

No doubt you cannot understand complexity.
Nope, I just can think clearly.
I know that health care cannot be done by the collection of individuals it is a system that requires government supervision, that is why I vote for universal health coverage.
By the way you have got your health insurance from the government.
Somehow you want me to pay for your insurance and buy my insurance from the private provider at the same time.
Nicely done. Steal from me and blame me for your theft.

If responsibility of the government to protect life then health care is a responsibility of the government.
    It is very simple.

Isn't the government a collection of individuals?

Who might those "super special people" be? Your insurance company? Your mechanic? Your doctor? Hospital after you're taken there because of an accident? DMV? Some cop who caught you speeding? Your dependents? ... Who?

And created great incoherence in that society.

Huh? Where the hell did you get that nonsense?

There is only one proper response to that statement:
