Still i can play safe by giving counties to my kids , i created Ireland without using any de joure claim so all old lords are removed and all vassals are family members . You think that Primogeniture will work better ?

Most of the systems can work well. Electoral is the hardest. But in all systems you have to make sure to educate your kids. Otherwise just fire your spy master and hope for the best.

    There's Dawnstar & Hearthfire...

I haven't gotten either but, w/ Hearthfire, you can build your houses, etc. from the ground, among other things...

Dawnstar is a whole different add-on, where you can become a vampire lord, among some other stuff...

    They both look really cool...

This forum is essentially an online role playing game.

Dawnstar is OK, adds a bit more content, Hearthfire is nice, you can build your own place, but neither are really expansions to the game. The Dragonborn DLC sounds to be a full on expansion pack that will add a lot of game play to Skyrim.

OK, I got Assassin's Creed 3. I would not give it as high of a rating as Metacritic but all in all I give it a solid 8/10

The story is amazing. You meet all the key players in the American Revolution, including Samuel Adams (love his beer). The game starts out in the prelude to the Revolution and works its way through the War. The game is HUGE and there is no shortage of things to do. A new addition to the series is Navel Warfare that looks beautiful and works brilliantly! On the negative side, parts of the game seem frustratingly hard and devolve into doing a fight or chase over and over until you figure out what to do, where to go, and a tactic to use. There are minor bugs like following someone who gets stuck in the crowd for 30 seconds and such, but nothing major. All in all a very good game with an amazing story and for the most part solid game play.

I would definitely recommend Assassin's Creed 3 to anyone who likes action oriented games.

Been playing Crusader Kings II. Got the new DLC. Makes your vassals more ambitious which means more civil wars.

Anyway. I was playing as France. I was married to the Queen of Norway. I was the heir of England. All is going well. Then most of the French nobles rose up in rebellion and I ended up as just a baron.

I'm an MMORPG kind of guy. Currently playing Guild Wars 2. Next week I'll revisit SW:TOR when they start F2P. Looking forward to the Elder Scrolls MMO.

Oh, and I'll get Crysis 3 to put the stress to my 2x 680 SLI system. (nothing makes it sweat right now)

HAHA (*)(*)(*)(*) happen , getting married to foreigners is generally bad cause the heir can get either nationality and there is going to be problem if you end up as the Zoroastrian Mongol king of Scotland .

Are you a Game of Thrones fan? I just got back into Crusader Kings 2 because I discovered the Game of Thrones mod for it. It's amazing!

Right now I built my own character and started as Lord of Winterfell. One of my banner men tried to usurp Winterfell from me so I tried to have him arrested, but he rebelled and started a War in the North. At the same time King Robert the Fat went to war against Dorne and asked for my support. Instead I saw the possibilities and rebelled against the King.

I chose to ignore the civil war and focus all efforts on beating the King while he was distracted by his war. King Robert had about 50,000 troops more than me so I wanted to make sure to have as many victories as possible in that war before he was capable of striking back!

I took all the cities I could before double backing back to the North to win the civil war. In one of my battles in the civil war I saw the Lord who rebelled against me. I charged at him with full force but he over took me. I had a brief moment where I could have yielded. But I knew this Lord was not going to spare me. He wanted Winterfell and he was not willing to let another claimant walk free. So I rolled and dodged his attack and was given a second chance! Again I attempted to strike a blow... but, again, he bettered me, and this time I had no chance. I was struck down in the battle field. My daughter (named after my real life girlfriend) took over as Lady of Winterfell.

King Robert the Fat, unable to focus on the cities Lord Bill of Winterfell took, surrendered to the North, creating the new independent Kingdom of the North. With all the might of the North we rained massive amounts of troops onto the rebel cities and won the War in the North. Now the North is ruled by the gracious Queen of the North!

I've been bowing down to my girlfriend all day yesterday calling her "Queen of the North"

    She was very confused.

Just got Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. I love the invisibility cloak and the sync shot. The invisibility cloak makes it a breeze to get into position for an ambush, and the sync shots make it so you can take out 4 tango's in a heartbeat leaving any surviving tango's in disarray as they scramble for cover. So far I am loving the SP but have no plans for MP as my Ninja reflexes have long abandoned me... although I do like co-op and the game does offer a co-op mode.

I'm currently playing Planetside 2 after playing Star Wars: The Old Republic for a couple months.

Planetside 2 is essentially Battlefield 2142 except on a much much larger scale. I play BF3 also, though I haven't played since last November when I started playing Star Wars. I bought the premium pack so I get the expansions when they are released. Haven't checked out Aftermath yet, but Endgame looks to be pretty cool. I'm wondering if Air Superiority mode is going to be good. I definitely enjoyed Tank Superiority.

I've seen some Skyrim talk here. I completed all the main and semi-main storylines and just stopped playing it. I enjoyed that game incredibly, and was actually really sad when the storyline was over. That's one of those games that could stand a visit from the Energizer Bunny, so that it keeps going and going and going and going and....

Are the new DLC additions worth getting and do they add some new elements to the game?

Also, X-Com: EU. Played it hardcore for a few weeks. I thought it was both better and worse than the original. Combat is definitely light years ahead of the old one in just about all aspects. The meta game is lacking though. Half the fun of the original was building and managing your bases across the world, and then having to worry about defending them, especially when the difficulty was on the higher settings. I missed that element in the new one.

I recently started playing Skyrim again after I bought it on a half off sale around Christmas or Thanksgiving. I had played it before and I thought it was actually quite poor and lazily done. On the PC it was barely playable at launch and left a very sour taste in my mouth. But I bought it anyways because I knew as usual the mods would make it better, and I wouldn't have given the game a second chance if it wasn't modable. I was not disappointed the community has come through once again and made a game worth playing.

Now on the subject of the DLC, I bought them once again while they were half off the other week just so I could play mods that required them. I haven't played any of the Dawnguard DLC but Hearthfire is rather vestigial, get it if the concept sounds appealing. Also I haven't gotten the latest one, Dragonborn, as I am not willing to pay full price for anything from Bethesda anymore. Their work has been rather shoddy lately and filled with tons of bugs.

On console I'm revisiting old games like Megaman Legends 1 and 2, and Tales of Symphonia. On computer I'm playing Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines (which I consider to be THE single greatest rpg ever) over and over in anticipation of the MMO that's supposed to be released in the next couple of years.

I played thru Vamp-Masq-Bloodlines twice. Enjoyed it very much. Am now playing an oldy called Diablo2 LOD. It can get boring but has a pleasant atmosphere...or at least pleasant to me.

That's it for now. However I just installed a new 500GB drive and am looking foreward to installing plenty of older games like Soldier of Fortune, Unreal Tournament and The Longest Journey that I have stacked in the corner of my bookshelf.

PS: Do you know if there is an equivalent of Vampire---Bloodlines out there. I really liked that game. I'm not much into MMO though.

Nice. I haven't tried any of the Diablo games yet myself.
I've been looking for a game that's similar to Bloodlines too, haven't really found any :(. From what I've read the best games that are kind of similar are: Deus Ex, The Witcher 1 and 2, Gothic 1-3, and Never Winter Nights 2.
Btw, you can download patches for Bloodlines that fix things like bugs, broken quests, and the lost endings if you haven't already.
