No wonder the right has been so quiet on this one.

The State of Mississippi is suing former NFL quarterback and Hall of Famer Brett Favre and others, alleging they misspent millions of dollars that had been allocated for welfare.

Newly-revealed text messages from 2017 indicate that former Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant, who left office in 2020, was aware of the arrangement, and that the money that was intended to help low-income families. After being funneled through a nonprofit, it eventually went to Favre to help build a volleyball facility at the University of Southern Mississippi, the lawsuit alleges.

Favre, who had a storied 20-year NFL career with the Green Bay Packers, New York Jets and others, has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing in the matter.

"Folks were more upset about Jameis Winston stealing $33 worth of seafood from a Publix than they are about Brett Favre stealing millions from a Mississippi welfare fund"

Of course, and we know why.

I suggest people also look into the history of Republican Rick Scott's company when it comes to large fines for fraudulent behavior.

In reality, isn't MAGA and really R's all about welfare?
Have R's ever reduced welfare or spending?
Nope, they reduce taxes and increase spending.
    D's, tax and spend.
    R's, borrow and spend.

Never ever be fooled by any R claiming to be conservative when it comes to spending money. They are some of the biggest spenders.

As a Florida native, I was stunned that a guy like Scott could swindle Medicare for billions with his fraudulent medical scheme and then use the money to buy himself the Florida governorship.
The man should have been in jail decades ago.

And what are people that live on welfare? Parasites that can vote for money for themselves. They contribute nothing to society at all. They only take resources and vote against the interests of the working class. They are the backbone of the Democrat Party and I resent them nearly as much as the Democrat Party. It isn't enough that you take my money at the point of a government gun, you call me a POS as you do it.

The end of American greatness began we gave money to people not to work. It started in the 60s and look where it has brought us..... to the point that we think it is a crime when freeloaders don't get enough from the wage slaves.

Not sure why you think people on welfare don’t pay taxes. Everyone I’ve ever known who got public aid, paid taxes before they went on the dole and paid taxes later.

This is just case of targeting a Trump supporter. The Deep State won't stop coming until they've tagged everyone.
