I live in CA and Bidens team have been running things all along. Care to discuss the "good" dems are doing?

Originally I thought I would give the guy an honest chance and looked forward to quieter times. The unrest is tiring.

But talking to people on this forum and the pure lies coming from both parties, I can see the hate and unrest will never stop. The left and right wings are tearing this country apart and our two major parties are pandering to them for votes. Its disgusting and each respective base are just in a frenzy non stop. People can't even agree on basic truths anymore.

I am going to move to the country and teach my kids and grandkids to farm. I am going to build something they will have to fall back on after I am gone.

I’m actually curious how you might be able to quit your job and work from home if Biden is elected. What is it that you think Biden might accomplish that allows you the freedom to make the change?

Heh, cant really call it quitting if the job no longer exists can you? And assistance for retraining is the answer.

Do you really believe one state is indicative of the entire party? I’m sure there’s some very poorly run red states but that isn’t any indication how the rest of the Repubs are.

Your timelines messed up. Biden isnt elected yet, and jobs are already gone.

You think im speaking personally? Generally. What people can do take it like that.

So all you have is Trump hate and if Trump is defeated you have no plans. Your life post Trump will be no different at all.

So then you currently have no job but believe as soon as Biden is elected you will have a job and one that will allow you to work from home?

When they have super majority control, yes. If a state is poor, at least the reason for poverty is apparent. CA has a huge economy and the highest taxes. Their level of cash flow make their extreme levels of poverty inexcusable.

Back in 2008 some clown using the ridiculous title "ImpeachObama" declared he would sell out at DOW 8000. I'll be glad to buy out whatever you have that's worth buying at a 15% discount to cash.

So if Biden is elected you'll buy stock thinking it will go up because he's raising taxes on business? Interesting theory

So when the labor costs go up for virtually all hourly workers, how long between the wage increase and inflation will they have additional purchasing power?

Other aspect, even if you were to increase the FMW to $15.00, those people are still at the bottom of the wage ladder. How long do you predict they will be happy there when their purchasing power disappears?

Biden winning would be like choosing a crotchety old Monday morning QB to actually play QB. It wouldn't be a pretty sight, nor would it be a winning season.

Small businesses often must lay off workers if minimum wage hikes force their hand. This creates higher unemployment, particularly unskilled younger labor. Businesses also often become less efficient from reduced staffing, such as the fast-food industry staffed by the same unskilled labor pool.
