I know personal responsibility freaks out abortion fanatics , hence the usual childish attacks. Most of the civilized world has limits on abortion. Abortion is for the most part an elective medical procedure. Just like removing a non-cancerous mole, liposuction, circumcision. im not sure if States should not have the right to regulate such procedures, including abortion, except to protect the life or physical health of the mother. if bringing a child to term will likely kill the mother or cause serious physical harm, abortion must be allowed. Or if the child was conceived as the result of a rape or forced incest. I understand the Right to Privacy argument but I don't think it can be reasonably applied to elective medical procedures. Just as I think States should have the right to regulate and even ban tanning salons, certain extreme piercings, etc.
i will offer to drive folks from evil states to the Free States, to get an abortion if its within the first 8 weeks.

Will some states attempt make it a crime to cross state lines for the purpose of getting an abortion? Will some states limit the free speech and freedom of assembly of groups that organize to help women cross state lines to get abortions? Will they attempt to prosecute such organizers? Will some states wink at violence against such organizers, giving their tacit endorsement to pro-life vigilante violence? I'm guessing "yes", based on their past actions. Pro-lifers have always ignored the Constitution whenever doing so advances their agenda.
Dunno why they would bother with anything as hard to enforce as that when they can just criminalize the act itself. Dunno why they would discourage people from leading LE officers right to the doorsteps of abortion mills.

As much as I’m against abortion, I also recognize that laws are in place and should be respected. If one state legally allows abortion then so be it. Whether I like it or not. There are a lot of laws that vary from state to state. Like firearms. I can legally carry in Connecticut but not in NY. Do the anti gun crowd have every inch of border covered, slavering to inspect my vehicle?...NO! As a licensed arborist I can purchase and apply certain pesticides that are banned in the state of NY. Do the organic greenies have every inch of the border covered, slavering to inspect my truck for banned pesticides?...NO! Pennsylvania has very liberal laws regarding the sale of fireworks, every summer thousands of people drive there to purchase fireworks to bring back to their home state. Does the ATF have every inch of border monitored, slavering to inspect every vehicle for illegal fireworks?...NO! Can you give me any real example where state borders have inspection checkpoints for every vehicle that passes through for ANYTHING?...NO! This isn't about illegal fireworks, this is about citizens rights to their own bodies. A right EVERY American, no matter what state they live in, should have. IF abortion is made illegal the problems of enforcement were made obvious. There is no way to enforce it without total control and monitoring of women. Every single law in this entire planet is ignored by some people. Murder is illegal and people are murdered every day. Rape is illegal, theft is illegal, heck speeding is illegal, and these things happen regularly every single day. By your reasoning we mind as well not have any laws since some people are just going to ignore them anyways. Right?
