    collapse after a month of being without their families! Many in WW2 didn't see their families for 4 years. For germans and Japanese, it was 5-6 years.

    There’s nothing fundamentally different between people back then and people now. In general we’d deal with an event like WWII as well (or as poorly) as they did at the time.

    The US has super stealth weapons that will kill power to everything in any sized area they choose. If they use it on a country they'll not be having a nice day that's for sure. The toilets might still work but I wouldn't be too sure.

    I think Vladmir Putin, an Xi Jinping have asked themselves that very question. In the coming months, both will likely reveal exactly what they've surmised.

    Exactly. There's nothing about how we grow up and live today that's all that different. We have things a little easier thanks to modern tech, but when it comes to toughening up and finding resolve to go to war and win it, there's no reason people today shouldn't be able to do that. Look at today's armed forces - the OP's claims disrespect them in a big way..

    a little easier today. Right. Ever spend 70 hours per week bent over a shovel in the hot sun, on a diet of beans and rice? cause that's what tons of people did in the 30's and 40's, for $20 a month to send home to their family.

    They would be calling for FDR to resign for his unconstitutional attack on American Born America Citizen of Japanese ancestor.
    They would also support the Nazi fight to regain ancestral lands stolen by Polish Imperialists, just like they do with Hamas.
