What do you do for fun? We like to go out on our small boat on the local rivers ' St Johns, Suwanee and St Augustine Mantanzas . Hubby plays a couple instruments but likes guitar the best. Not many playign these days so he seldom plays now. We also liked playing softball but now too old although I played up to 50 Yr old in county league. Now I dance for exercise because we like music too.
Hunting, fishing, hiking is part of those. Being able to put 500 lbs of pork in my freezer for less than a $100, that's gas and bullets. Seeing the meat we donate feed homeless people. Hunters for the Hungry is one of the best charities in the world. Pitting your martial skills against an animal that has far better hearing and smell than you do is thrilling to me...especially when using primitive weapons and snares like bows and atlat, I also like to use a sling when hunting rabbits and neutrinos.
Yea buddy, i love the recurve and longbow. I shoot a lot , but lost the urge to shoot animals. I take bow out abd if i get one in range i take picture.. i do get a hunger for venison now and then so i do shoot occasionally.
Oh and music, fishing, softball, horseshoes , darts, hiking, camping, skiing, fooseball ( one of my favorite ga.es) darts, disc golf, kayaking.
Acting, drawing, walking, playing board games, listening music, reading. Just drinking something in silence while enjoying the sun and my dog.
Reading and talking about astrology with people online. Yes yes I know astrology is dumb. But to me it's a lot of fun. I find talking astrology online to be a very good way to relax.
Forests. Mountains. Lakes. Countryside. Rivers. Snow. Cooking. Humour. Old houses. In no particular order.
Guitar It's the little things... I love guitars right, love music, it's not the only things I love, but I love them still. This has somewhat been a defining outlet for me to my friends and family, it seems; If I get cards from the family on my birthday, I'm blessed, and, they're all saying I rock and I get guitar birthday cards and, my friends who know me know I like guitar... I mean, I like life, but guitar has defined me to other people, which is fine by me Show's they're listening in my passion lol, but, my passion comes from fandom and proximity and chance/fortune/good luck/bad luck right.. - because this is where I shop for guitars in the UK if I'm not importing them: http://www.artefactmagazine.com/2016/01/12/denmark-street-londons-latest-culture-casualty/ I've bought 4 guitars on Denmark Street, still have 3 of them, the good ones; my first 12 string was cheap and brand new from there, but years later, my first Gibson, my first Fender and my second Gibson all came from there. Those guitars are awesome.
Confession time... I went out and bought the exact same parts to modify a guitar that's the same as the one on the record when I got my guitar last year November/November 2017 and, am thrilled of how much it sounds like what I was aiming for (even though it's the same guitar/same parts etc)... Still proud/love how it sounds. It's a 2005 guitar, but think of guitars like fine wine, some years being better than others due to the grape, guitar, same thing goes into the wood. I like the pre 2014 guitars better (just because that's when Gibson started putting a badge on these guitars I don't like that covers the toggle switch bay at the back), so I wouldn't want a 2017 guitar even though I could afford one brand new, I'm so happy I found this guitar and was able to find the parts I wanted to get it to sound how I wanted. I pretty much have my electric guitars customised to get what I want. I also run a signature amp of this artist who's guitar I copied through a speaker, it's an awesome sounding guitar amp. It's guitar direct to amp, (no pedals), I like my rig, this guitar amp was the last one in England.
