Yes, but you're forgetting the most important detail of all - it was a (wait for it . . . ) it was a perfume bottle. Who'd've believed it!! :eyepopping:

Ah! the smell of Novichok in the morning...

I know ladies like to dab a bit of perfume on their hands before placing it, but why would Charlie Rowley dab ladies perfume on his too?

Whenever I recall that some of the journalists and a couple of politicians (inter alia Andrew Neil and Jacob Rees-Mogg), whose nous and gravitas I trust and respect, don't share our scepticism, Striped Horse, I do confess to having moments of self-doubt. Those moments don't last very long though! Only about 3 seconds!

For me both are very much part of the Establishment thinking anyway. Rees-Mogg's father, as you'll probably remember, Cerb, was the former editor of The Times and very much an Establishment figure of his day, whereas Andrew Neil was the Editor of The Sunday Times.

Well spotted, SH; but would not that very notoriety cause them even more public embarrassment if the truth ever does come out? I mean, figures like them would have far more personal credibility on the line than anyone else I can think of - apart from May, that is, but her days in office are numbered, thank god? Whilst I haven't heard either of them comment on it per se, they do seem to be fully signed up to the official version? Rhetorical question, I suppose, seeing as the truth will never come out anyway.

Since this is a police investigation nothing of any import will be released ergo conspiracy theory reins....its fun to watch the yarns being spun

    This wasn't responded to.
Fact is - Iraq had WMD's. Probably all three - chemical, biological and nuclear
in some degree of development. It used the chemical WMD's. Everybody but
the Left believed it still had these. The money is on Iraq WMD's being shipped
to Syria prior to the American war. A number of containers were seen being
trucked over the Syrian border. These might have been the same chemicals
Syria employed later (unless they were Russian ones.)

    From Craig Murray's FB page:

A reliable source tells me that the unnamed British police officer who spoke to the unnamed Press Association journalist was, in fact, Inspector Knacker of the Yard.

I hope that clears everything up.

Except to ask if anyone knows where gel perfume can be bought these days? Or is it only available in Salisbury?

:roflol: I wonder what Private Eye is making of all this - I'll have to order the last three or four issues to find out.

They just won't stop digging, will they!!

It's become the story that even circus clowns are embarrassed by.

And akin to the worst ever made multi-purpose tool. The blade is blunt, the screw-driver is shonky, the pliers are too short to get a grip on them, and the case it comes in is faux leather cardboard. Every part of it is utter cr*p.

It should have "Made in China" marking on it, but instead it has "Made at Vauxhall Bridge Road, London" stamped into it.

The latest from our unbelievably retarded government and media on the Amesbury poisoning.

Our government and their compliant media cannot even get together in advance and coordinate their lies. This latest is just about the most absurd thing I've seen thus far.

The official story is that the Novichok that poisoned the Skripal's was discarded by the poisoner in a park where Rowley and his partner, Dawn Sturges, found it and were themselves poisoned, with Sturges very sadly dying from it. According to ITN News correspondent, Rupert Evelyn, linked in the below article by Craig Murray, Rowley told him (Evelyn) that he had to use a knife to remove the cellophane packaging from the sealed perfume box.

Which begs the question, imo, did the vile Russian poisoner take the time to go to a packaging factory to reseal the deadly Novichok in the perfume bottle he carried it around in, or did he have two bottles - one used that he took away with him/her and one he left in the park as he was eating his sandwiches afterwards.

That's how daft this story is becoming.

According to the video report (HERE), after his release from hospital, Charley Rowley was taken to a police safe house, put on a lot of medication and banned him from watching the tv or reading the newspapers.
