My advice is, have sex with as many women as you possibly can and take up drinking and smoking. You can always quit later but you will never know what its like if you dont give it a fair trial.

    You'll learn...

BUT, one HUGE but, NEVER EVER carry when you've been drinking. There is a ZERO tolerance rule. If you blow a .0001 and your carrying, your CHL is revoked.

Unless you have deep religious convictions against it, you should try. Stats show that tee-totalers are as unhealthy as low-level alcoholics.

That was actually the same thing I used to say. Alcohol had been the cause/large contributor of quite a few deaths in my family. Whether it be horrific auto accidents, or a slow death via failing organs. I had dismissed the idea of alcohol entirely.

However, I decided to give it a go. I started out with hard liquor, to see how far I could push myself before being plastered/ill.

I moved away from that and have settled in the occasional dark beer or wine. Wine is by far my favorite.... throw in some bread and cheese, and oh my. How delicious. Nothing is quite as romantic as an evening of good conversation over good wine with an attractive woman (and no, I certainly don't use alcohol to get laid). Just sayin'.

You can certainly drink without getting drunk, pace is important. I have handle about one glass of wine an hour and stay pretty level.

I do not care what stats show. It is a fact that it is un-healthy.

No offense, but I do not drink, and I do not plan too, and will not allow myself too. I do not care what the situation, where, when, or why. Their is no reason for it. The only thing I have ever wanted too try, is steroids, and I can't do it. Lack of finance, and lack of will power to accept the side effects.

I never claimed to be a health nut. I said I would, if I could get over the side effects and the price.

There is such a thing as not reading what people type too.

Why do you "absolutely refuse" to drink alcohol, but instead prefer a drug?

    possible physical effects of steroids:
High blood cholesterol levels - high blood cholesterol levels may lead to cardiovascular problems
    Severe acne
    Thinning of hair and baldness
    Fluid retention
    High blood pressure
Liver disorders (liver damage and jaundice)
    Sexual & reproductive disorders

    possible psychological effects:
Mood swings (including manic-like symptoms leading to violence)
Impaired judgment (stemming from feelings of invincibility)
    Depression
    Nervousness
    Extreme irritability
    Delusions
    Hostility and aggression

Possibly, but I simply cannot taste the difference between hard alcohols...... whiskey tastes a lot like rum. I believe it is maybe because the flavor of alcohol over powers the others..... I'm not sure.

I have gravatated towards wine. I do like wine. Dark beers have captured my attention as well..... New Belgium.... hmmmmm....

Can't really do dark beers, too heavy, I always feel like I've had a steak after just one beer.

I do like wheat beers, like Blue Moon, Shock Top and different lagers.

Also, I sold my Sig P250 and picked up a M&P 40 sub compact on Saturday.

Das M&P40 with its bigger brother, full size M&P45.

I'll have to try Fat Tire, never had it.

This is what I have right now, had to borrow this pic from the web though, don't have an actual pic of mine. XDm 40 with 16 rd mags.

Only thing I don't like about it is the stainless steel slide shows signs of surface rust if not maintained properly. I have to oil it a little bit after shooting it. Not a huge deal though.

My next will be an XD 40 compact, all black, for my CCW.

Prefer a drug? They are two different things. Alcohol does not help you get stronger, or gain mass. Steroids do. I do neither, so your argument is irrelevant.
