It was my way of escaping from this discussion without getting pointlessly involved in any further rhetoric. I'm sorry you took exception but I'll probably get over it.

Sure. 'Keep saying that'. Eventually you'll convince yourself of it.

You're like the doggy people I encounter in real life. Here's what happens - the dog interferes with me in some unwanted way - the owner smiles benignly as if I should feel privileged - I react with irritation - I suddenly become the owners worst enemy as in 'Love my dog or I'll hate you for ever.' Ring a bell does it??

Wow dude. So every single dog person you've come across who's dog 'interferes' with you in some 'unwanted' way reacts as you describe? That you let yourself become so enraged that you become the owners 'worst' enemy? Man, you sound like you could use some anger management counseling. That or a couple of valiums. Lighten up. The 'doggy' was just being curious and doing what doggies do. And by the way when my dog takes an innocent sniff or otherwise approaches or 'interferes' with someone I do not 'smile benignly' to try and make that person feel privileged. I'll give a simple yank on the leash call out her name and say something like 'stop it'. That is unless that person doesn't have obvious anger issues and is otherwise a 'doggie person' and enjoys being approached by a dog doing what comes natural.

That small-minded diatribe speaks volumes about you. I have nothing more to say on the matter.

Of course you don't. Really infinitesimally small minds have trouble defending themselves or their point of view. Carry on.

This is a typical dog owner - obsessed, rude, anti-social, selfish, and grossly intolerant. Now go away, you're boring me.

Dude. What happened? I thought you had 'nothing more to say' on the matter?. Obviously I'm not really boring you. For if I was you'd truly have 'nothing to say on the matter.' And if anyone is 'obsessed' it is you.
