Yahweh was an androgynous god, like many of the older traditions.

I have many links to Catholic women, as well as Protestant women, who suffer from the misogyny and homophobia of the genocidal Yahweh and his followers.

Only of late have women freed themselves from that corrupted thinking.

The Catholic I grew up in was fantastic. Born 1950

Highly sexually permissive though. Every Church had a key clubs, which means wife swap, clubs.

I did not know of the residential schools, and hope the natives burn all the crosses and put up totem poles.

I owe Catholics and Protestants a lot though for guiding me to the better part of understanding the bible.

The Gnostic Christian goal was always to take the supernatural out of Christianity, and have all face reality.

Look at the Greatly successful Cathars whose highest ideal was a Parfait.

A perfected person.

Gnostic Christians were and are esoteric ecumenists and realists who are naturalists and moralists.

That is when the shat hits the fan, as we call Yahweh a vile demiurge.

His homophobia and misogyny gets a thumbs down.

Look at it this way.....as of now, there are 3 people who can trace their roots back to the Apostles. A comforting thought for sure....

 

Only rite that I subscribe to....to much out there to make a person think or want otherwise. Some people are content to be where they are at. Really hard for me to understand how anyone would subscribe to another faith. Any other faith that we have in this world has been created by man. Can't say that about the Catholic Faith.
