I admit it.......... although I am technically a member of a rival political party I do consider that Mr. Peter MacKay is an exceptionally good public speaker and.......... arguably one of the most skilled and talented diplomats in Canada at this time. Mr. Peter MacKay in his many high profile roles managed to unite Canada's political right in the past and I suspect that he will do so again in the future. I believe that he will turn PPC National Leader Mr. Maxime Bernier first........ for a number of reasons: 1. CPC National Leader Mr. Peter MacKay knows perfectly well that if he can convince Mr. Maxime Bernier to rejoin the CPC under his leadership..... he will essentially have gotten the Conservative Party of Canada an extra two or three percentage points in critical ridings that he will need to defeat P. M. Justin Trudeau in the next Canadian federal election so....... he will probably go all out to lure Mr. Maxime Bernier back into the CPC. 2. If Mr. Peter MacKay is chosen to lead the CPC he will immediately recognize that Mr. Maxime Bernier is in a special position to assist in keeping the province of Alberta within Canada. So.... my guess is that he might even try his best to arrange that PPC candidate Mr. Maxime Bernier has no Conservative Party rival in whatever riding he chooses..... if ... he chooses to campaign somewhere in Alberta? 3. I live in Central - Nova and I heard Mr. Peter MacKay in two federal level debates and I feel that he has the brains and the ability to turn the People's Party of Canada into something like a farm team for the Conservative Party of Canada. I am having some difficulty finding the Peter MacKay statements regarding the Chinese G-5 technology but..... he certainly does good on this topic as well. Personally......... I think that I would have to be a self righteous, ignorant. arrogant, moron to look down on Mr. Maxime Bernier if he were eventually willing to rejoin the Conservative Party of Canada due to the totally different environment that I am sure that Mr. Peter MacKay will create if he is chosen to lead the CPC into this next Canadian federal election. I bought my wife a membership in the CPC so that she could vote for Mr. Peter MacKay for national leader of the CPC. My wife took my suggestions and made Mr. Peter MacKay her number one choice...... and then her second choice was Mr. Derek Sloan and her third choice was Dr. Leslyn Lewis. I suggested to her that she not even give Mr. Erin O'Toole her fourth choice but instead leave it blank. After the results came in both my wife and I were rather shocked........... and my wife is a gifted Pentecostal so she was praying..... .and The Holy Spirit told her that "He's a fighter!" The situation faced here in Nova Scotia at this time over how to treat those of us who do not want this Covid 19 vaccination could either divide us more than ever before........ or unite us more than ever before....... depending on how this is handled. In my opinion Mr. Peter MacKay is one of Canada's most skilled diplomats...... and if anybody here could come up with a way to turn this into a win - win - win - win scenario....... Funny story for you...... I think it was in 2006 I was in the home of Mr. Jim Boudreau, (who I did vote for in two provincial level elections, Jim was N.D.P., M.L.A . for our area for one term). I could be wrong..... I often am but..... if I have done a reasonable job of psychotically profiling Mr. Peter MacKay based on the many years in which he served all of us here in Central - Nova, then I think that if he will be chosen to lead the Conservative Party of Canada in their next leadership race he would continually attempt to bring his friend Mr. Maxime Bernier and Mr. Derek Sloan and most of the ordinary members of the People's Party of Canada back into the new and hopefully improved Conservative Party of Canada. I admit that I could be incorrect about this because the pressure on him to continue with an approach similar to what Mr. Erin O'Toole took will be nearly overwhelming but I do believe that Mr. Peter MacKay learned over these past two years that the O'Toole method of attempting to suppress honest dialogue on the serious issues facing us Canadians just did not work. I have some suggestions that might just help him in his likely soon coming gambits to unite Canada's Political Right..... 1. Create a new position in the Conservative Party of Canada entitled perhaps "Artisitic Director" and promote Mr. Maxime Bernier and / or Mr. Derek Sloan and several others for this position. 2. Because the duties of the new Artistic Direct of the CPC will be to CREATE NEWS...... this position can pay more than the office of National Leader of the CPC pays but..... .the catch is that the CPC must own non-exclusive but none the less genuine rights to do with that film footage whatever the leadership of the CPC decide to do with it.
