    Because of course the whistle blower laws which both parties signed on to are designed to protect the whistle blower from retribution. But I am sure you knew that.

    If you are going to try to impeach the President, there better be some transparency. Not whispers from an anonymous "whistleblower" with NO direct knowledge.

    Attacking the process which is Constitutional is the last refuge of Republicans since of course the actual evidence is overwhelming.

    And after Trump is impeached there will be plenty of time for public transparency during the Senate trial. Heck maybe this time Trump will even testify.

    So in your overwhelming respect for openness I assume you would favor eliminating all government functions and documents that are not open to the public.
