What was even a lie here? Near as I can tell, his uncle did die in that location and his plane crashed for undetermined reasons. Biden saying it was shot down is hardly a "lie."

Nope. They were simply told to go against him no matter what. I don't know of any conservative who ever had a melt down over a mean Tweet. The difference between them and us is their lives are shattered by anything Trump says, while we simply laugh or shake our heads at what Biden says.

 

Not so often as Trump, but it does happen. It doesn't really appear to be the case in this situation. His uncle's plane crashed. He believes it was due to being shot down. . . . and?

That's the thing...Biden is talking about how he believes his uncle died. It may be an exaggeration, but it doesn't affect anything to do with policy or the duties of the president. But Trump can claim wind turbines cause cancer because he was traumatized by the issue in Scotland. That makes him a cry baby unable to deal with the facts.

The plane went down over the ocean from an engine failure. It was not shot down. His body was lost at sea, not eaten by cannibals.

Just acknowledge that Biden has history of making odd and contrived comments. Comments about kids rubbing the hair on his legs and about driving an 18 wheeler, to being raised in virtually every ethnic neighborhood in America.

Then there’s the claims of having college degrees he didn’t earn and earning honors which don’t exist and finishing at the top of his class when he was actual near the bottom.

He has claimed to settle high profile legal cases for a particular law firm which were heard before he became an associate there.


He’s told false takes about taking enemy fire in Kosovo, Iraq and Afghanistan.

 

Don't be so hard on yourself. You could do better.

 

And Trump blamed cancer on windmills.

 

Biden never said he was eaten by cannibals, not that dying in the ocean would prevent that from happening. And I haven't found anything showing he wasn't shot down. Besides, hell, Trump's lies about 9/11 alone dwarf any of this.

This is more misinformation being spread. We know what happened to his uncle. The military has a report on it. Biden's quote:
"SHOT DOWN IN New Guinea, and they never found the body BECAUSE there are a lot of cannibals in THAT PART of New Guinea."

This isn't true. He wasn't "shot down;" both engines failed. This didn't happen "in New Guinea." It happened in the ocean after taking off for New Guinea. They never made it to New Guinea. Cannibals weren't living in the ocean and had nothing to do with the recovery of the body. The only thing that was true from Biden's story is that he did have an uncle named Ambrose who died in the war, and perhaps he was a good athlete when he was younger. The story and circumstances of his death were not true.

Biden has a history of lying about his relatives and their military service. Just like when he told a story about a conversation he had with his Uncle Frank while giving him a Purple Heart while he was Vice President, despite his uncle dying a decade before he became VP. Never handed him a Purple Heart. And his retelling of their conversation was a lie. Perhaps he was having conversations with Whoopie Goldberg making pottery, but if that wasn't the case, that story was also a lie.

 

I haven't seen anything proving that the engine failure had nothing to do with combat. And, yes, cannibals do eat bodies that wash up on shore. And, again, none of this even stacks up to the lies Trump has told about 9/11 alone.

There was a survivor. The military mentions if people died in a combat related incident. There's no evidence of your conspiracy theories. Even CNN fact checked you/Biden and said the position you are taking has absolutely no merit and is a fantasy filled with misinformation. The irony of complaining about Trump "lies" while spreading unsupported lies is hilarious.

The only reasons provided are "unknown reasons." Which, no, doesn't disprove anything. And he's right about cannibals being in the area and the body never being recovered. Meanwhile, yes, Trump lied repeatedly about 9/11. He claimed to watch, from Trump Tower, as people lept to their death. This is physically impossible. He claimed to watch several New Jersey Muslims publicly dancing in celebration of the attack. This was a lie. He claimed HE PERSONALLY helped look for survivors. This was a lie. He claimed that he lost 100s of friends in the attack. Another lie. Nothing Biden has done matches this. The irony of complaining about Biden's "lies" while spreading unsupported Trump lies is hilarious.
