So, as I said, if were to "believe all women", its assault. If that had been a Fox News reporter, it would have been assault.

Trump wasn't verbally aggressive, he was fed up with acosta for being a jerk. Acostas time was done and he should have turned over the microphone. Not only did he not, but he physically stopped an intern from taking it. That's completely unacceptable.

If there was any assault, it was the female aid, the reporter was defending himself from that awful aggression you are trying to claim was an assault.

I don't belong to the D party, so what they are for or not for, I don't follow.

 

The intern should not have gotten physical with Acosta. A blatant attack and the obvious aggressor. If you all think any of it was an assault.
I say, only snowflakes thing any of it was an assault.

The intern didnt get physical, at all. That's as hyperbolic as saying acosta attacked her. There was no assault. There was an intern doing her job and a spoiled journalist completely out of line who not only refused to give up the microphone, he physically stopped an intern from taking back white house property. That is unacceptable, whether it happened under Trump, Obama, or any president.

If what he did was assault, he was in a defensive mode.

I saw the entire event live, from the ABC news feed. The whole event was marked by tRump, apparently butt hurt over having to now face the piper, was hostile, throughout, to the reporters. His performance was easily the most rude of any president, ever.

At the time there was no scuffle, no, oh no I've been hit. We haven't seen the woman coming out telling how scared she was. We don't see the police arresting anyone, or charges being filed. All we have is just another bullsh** stunt by our disaster of a president, and a fraudulent bullsh** stunt at that, and his followers once again falling for it, cheering him on.

Wait for him to spin out of control, as sweet little Nancy Pelosi frustrates and betters him. That is what the next two years will be like, now that Nancy has real power again. The two primary forces in Washington DC will be between smart Nancy and dumb Donald.

By the way, good job of voicing the Authoritarian nature of conservative thought. Just think, if there was a strongman on every corner, would liberals still speak out?

He was a jerk for wasting everyone's time and not passing off the microphone when his turn was up. Then refusing to hand over the microphone when a white house employee is literally trying to take it from him. This was not a street corner or protest rally. This was a journalist at work at the white house. Act respectful and follow the rules or get booted.

 

You can dump on trump all you want, hes fair game. But that doesn't excuse acostas behavior nor should it. Every president dances around questions and dont fully answers them. As a journalist you dont get to monopolize the limited time of a white house press conference and refuse to pass the microphone along. And when a white house employee tries to take the microphone, you sure as hell dont physically stop them. Acosta deserves what he gets
