I think we all know that police (even the good ones) have one set of rules for "citizens" and another set of rules (professional curtesy) for each other. I am glad I live in a State/County with an elected Sheriff. When law enforcement is run by an elected Sheriff a lot of the petty BS goes away.

a bit disingenuous. Many blacks get shot while engaging in robberies,
murders and gunfights with police. So why not focus upon them? Answer -
these are not emotive compared to a man innocently putting out the trash.
