"The intelligence branch of the Department of Homeland Security warned officials on Friday of what it says is the likelihood of domestic violent extremism in the wake of the Supreme Court’s ruling that eliminates federal-level abortion protections, multiple news outlets reported." https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/dhs-warns-memo-likely-violent-000206127.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall Apparently the left are planning attacks on our democracy, an insurrection, because they do not agree with a branch of the US Government's decision, based on the laws of our land, you know, democracy. Where is the respect for our government and how it functions? And, to boot, several prominent democratic leaders have incited this. From Biden on down to all levels, they have all attacked the decision of our democratic government, with Schumer himself inciting violence against the court and some of it's justices and refusing to take it back: https://www.newsweek.com/chuck-schumer-brett-kavanaugh-roe-v-wade-pay-price-comment-1713964 Is our democracy near it's end when one side violently attacks decisions our government makes that they don't like and democratic politicians incite an insurrection in an effort to overturn any part of the US government they don't like, simply because they don't agree with the democratic outcome? Just as soon as something doesn't go their way, democracy must be attacked, calling for and inciting a violent insurrection?
Your post kinda reminds me of others that didn't like a democratic outcome. When the violent extremists strike you may have a point, but not now. Oh by the way if they do use violence they should be punished.
You make some good points, but there are mountains of evidence showing that 'our democracy' is mostly an illusion. We actually have an oligarchy. Special interests control the government, not the people. That said, I'm all for defunding completely DHS, spawn of the deception of 911.
As Mr. Justice Brandeis noted, we can have democracy in this country, or we can have great wealth concentrated in the hands of a few, but we can't have both.
It's sad when the President, members of Congress, Senators, the MSM, and many many kooks can't accept the ruling of our Supreme Court. For God's sake, it's the third branch of our government. What is wrong with our country when we hear impeach, assassinate, abolish, burn down!!! Oh yeah, just destroy the most perfect form of government in the world. If you don't want to have an abortion, then don't have one. If you want to have an abortion, then find a doctor who will perform one. Put down the signs, put down the megaphones, take your kids home, stop the riots, stop the threats, stop the announcements, put on some decent clothes, get a job, get on with your life like the rest of us normal folks are doing. I'm sure you want to live in a country of laws -- well maybe not, you can't fix stupid.
Great riots were predicted. Where were they? It's easy to find quotes that might be intrepreted as inflamitory such as ""We fight like hell. And if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore,"
Huh? Evidently you haven’t been paying attention. Luckily DHS is actually doing it’s job now. With exception to “Reproductive Health Centers” noted in the alert (we’ve got a sordid history of violence at those) I suspect most of the public’s displeasure will be addressed at the ballot box. Which, of course, another DHS alert will be issued proceeding the vote and after the vote tabulation. If you recall we’ve recently experienced what you fear: incitement and insurrection when one side doesn’t like the outcome of the democratic process.
How about the assassination attempt on Justice Cavanaugh? Some of the females protesting Roe v Wade being struck down are so ugly they don't have to worry about an abortion because no one would want to have sex with them. Ugly, ugly moron protesters.
My point exactly. If we chastize one we should chastize all. We are either against threatening language or we are not.
