You are just making fictitious appeals to anonymous authority after I proved the opposite right here.

so you have no facts to support your hypothesis?

    I thought not.

the fact is, billions of people do not coveniently fit into your little racial identity boxes.

many Europeans are not blond and blue eyed.

many Asians don't have perfectly straight hair or black eyes.

many blacks don't have black eyes or very dark skin.

many Indians/Pakistanis don't have very dark skin.

you want to the human race to be polar, but its not

It would be futile to look at data while you continue to pretend I defined race by skin color.

you claim to define race by common ancestry, even though all humans come from Africa.

We've been over this and humans may have a common ancestor but do not have 100% identical ancestry.

Clearly the ad nauseam approach shysters think themselves clever for.

sure, a small minority of humans have Neanderthal ancestry.

    so what?

Not true of course but I'll address the "North West Europeans owning land" in the United States.

I oppose the "Divine Right of Kings" that based land and natural resource ownership upon "statutory title" granted by government. Our laws of property ownership today in the United States are based upon "statutory title" granted by government and are not based upon the "natural right of property" as expressed by John Locke in his Second Treatise of Civil Government, Chapter 5. We inherited or laws of property from the English and their laws were and are based upon the Divine Right of Kings.

As a libertarian I support the "Natural (Inalienable) Rights of the Person" over the "Statutory Authority" of government. I don't think that should come as any surprise to anyone.

The question was in the context of immigration so you're going off on a tangent.

Do you pretend race doesn't exist in White countries because you support non-White immigration?

Actually many people carry Neanderthal DNA today.

    http://www.newscientist.com/article...odern-humans-interbred-with-neanderthals.html

So if your ancestry is from Europe you have Neanderthal DNA often up to 2%, but at least some, because modern humans actively interbred with Neanderthals in Europe.

Along with the founders of America that believed in the Inalienable (Natural) Rights of the Person such as James Madison, George Washington and especially Thomas Jefferson I believe that ALL People have an "Inalienable Right of Liberty" to immigrate for peaceful purposes that should never be infringed upon under statutory law.

I most certainly do object to racist laws imposing immigration restrictions such as our current quota system designed to deny Hispanics the ability to immigrate the the United States for peaceful purposes such as employment and to live with their families.

Once again no one should be surprised by a libertarian supporting the "Inalienable Right of Liberty" of the person. That is the very root foundation for the word libertarian (i.e. a person that believes in liberty).

I get that you think Bushmen and Aborigines should immigrate to White countries because of "liberty" and that you claim the founding fathers would have agreed with you. I get that.

My question is whether you pretend race doesn't exist because of that.

race only exists for those who seek to isolate all humans into covenient little boxes of identity, regardless of the science.

You assert this ad nauseam but when engaged on the science you fail miserably, as above.

the science, is not on your side.

the science shows that there is gradual changes in phenotypes as one moves from Central Africa, through the Middle East, through Turkey, southern Europe, France, Germany, and up to Scandinavia.

there is no hard border where all of the sudden, folks go from being very dark to suddenly very light. there is no border where folks suddely stop looking Chinese and looking like a Turkmen.

I know your agenda needs this to be true, but its not.

That's because you keep ignoring my definition and attacking your own strawman lies.

    ok, let's try this again.

the hypothesis of race, says that there at least 4 distinct races, right?

    blacks, whites, asians, indian subcontinentals.

you claim that most people on Earth, neatly fit into one of these 4 groups...right?

and yet, the fact remains that if one travels from central africa, to the middle east, to turkey, to italy, to france, germany, and scandinavia, ones sees a gradual but constant lightening of skin color, eye color, hair color, and straightening of hair texture.

also, if one starts in say manchuria, and goes down to vietnam, myanmar, bangladesh, one sees a gradual darkening of skin tone, changing of hair texture, changing of facial structure.

this fact, which you cannot deny, shows that the human population doesn't fit into cute little boxes, but is indeed fluid and shows gradual changes as one travels east to west, north to south.

that said, why should we still box humankind into little categories?

    what agenda does this serve?

You're still ignoring my ancestry and genetic similarity definition and attacking a skin color and hair texture strawman.

I dont think so, races can be fuzzy in-between. That certainly doesnt invalidate the biological concept of race. It is a fallacy to think that just because something is not strictly either/or then it doesnt exist. Read this:

It's a good point. Also race defined by ancestry or genetic similarity results in discrete categories, which scatter towards each other, but don't overlap. Race defined this way results in maxima and minima (not a continuum). Lines are drawn through local and global minima.

yeah, and following that rule, there would be 50 human races.

    - - - Updated - - -

there is no biological concept of human races.

its a pseudo-science concept created by German white supremacists in the late 1800s.

No there would be billions, in a nested taxonomy. We get 4 main ones, which subdivide indefinitely.
