Why can't SSD be used for RAM?

    They get a lot of $ for RAM. Can't they use a SSD for RAM and save $ for bigger memory?

    Ram is already a technical SSD. An SSD is simply a bigger piece of RAM that will save information rather then dump it after a reboot. (ignoring the specific useages of each)
