You have to understand the politics at the time when the idea that the Jews had much more influence than they do or did was mainstream thought. Both sides courted the Jews in WW1, believing them to be a massively powerful group, this was encouraged by the Zionist Jews since they thought they could use this to create Israel, aided by Christian Zionists in the British war cabinet such as LLoyd George and Balfour. In reality the Zionist Jews at the time were very much a minority group, Rothschild who the famous Balfour declaration was sent to was not even a strong Zionist.

This myth of a jewish cabal running the world has cost millions of Jewish lives but that does not mean it has not been ruthlessly exploited by Zionist jews and to some extent it still is.

Hitler as has been stated would of already been anti Jewish brought up as a good catholic boy with all the animosity towards the jews that Catholicism taught. Add to that Marxism and Zionism were both Jewish ideas intended to alleviate the plight of the Jews. Someone as paranoid and as much of a failure as Hitler was when forming his political opinions and it is easy to see how he could use the Jews as a convenient scape goat for his own personal and Germany's woes. Hitler also believed as many did that the German army had not been defeated on the field of battle but had been betrayed by a communist inspired revolution at home.

 

It wasn't that he hated the Jews in particular. He was looking for anyone to blame for Germany's problems, just like McCarthyism in the US, where the government blamed communism for all the US' problems.

The jews held a lot of wealth in Germany, and it was much like how many few them in the US today, as schemers, hoarding wealth and controlling industry. Many Germans resented them, and they were the natural choice for a scapegoat.

Hitler hated almost all Jews, regardless of their positions in life.

Elderly and children. Lawyers, doctors, dentists, teachers, decorated WW1 veterans.

He hated Liberals and German nationalists. He hated scientists, engineers, laborers.

He hated the poor and Jews who contributed to German society.

His laws, starting in 1933, made no distinction among Jews. All Jews were his enemy, no matter who they were or what they did or what they didn't do.

That's why bigotry is soo stupid & ignorant. It punishes innocent people.

 

So let's get this straight: we've gone from Jews are too capitalist, to Jews are too communist, to Jews are materialistic Marxist atheists, to Jews are religious fundamentalists. You do realize that there is quite a bit of religious diversity among Jews, yes?

Being capitalist and Marxist are mutually exclusive. Being a materialist atheist and being a religious Jew who ascribes to a fundamentalist view of scripture are mutually exclusive.
