Why do people on here only care when the shooter is WHITE?

The Poway synagogue shooting in San Diego had one death - in contrast, the New Jersey shooting had 4 deaths, so four times worse. So why is it treated as nowhere near a seriously? What the hell is going on? Well, I know what the answer is <<MOD EDIT- Rule 2 - Group Insult Removed - Lee S>> but I'm wondering what others have to say. Why do people only care when it is a WHITE killer? My suspicion is that not too many leftists will contribute to this thread. They know very well their double standard. And it's sickening.

The problem is that too many people think of themselves or others, first and foremost, as members of groups rather than as individuals.

Are you saying that this explains why this attack was ignored?

 

This thread brings up some valid concerns, but there are factors that are unaccounted for. Current understanding of motive, poster interactions, and other events in the news cycle play their roles here.
It’s a concerning trend, but I don’t think we’re getting the whole picture here.

I'm talking about the reaction to the attacks. That has nothing to do with mentions.

 

It’s very simple. The MSM refuses to come off as “racist” so they do their best to bury any news that makes Black people look bad. And since it’s in their best interest to make white people look bad, because we’re all evil SOBs who ruined the world, they will shill, gloat and take sadistic glee when white people commit anything that can be construed as racist.

Its the virtue signaling hierarchy and white people are last.

Want to know who the most hated and discriminated group of people in the world is? Who has more threats and horrible things happen to them? Not black people. Not gay people. Not women. Not Christians. It’s Jews. We are forever hated for simply succeeding. Sucks for us.

 

Now, we do, I think. Don’t know if there was any manifesto or rants to go off of. Did we know anything about motive at the time of the initial post? Seems like you’re more up to speed on this than I am? Could you shed some light on a timeframe?

 

If it helps, I’ll my own perspective on this trend. I tend not to jump into threads where it’s likely I’ll be attacked from all sides. I find it exhausting. If one side is grandstanding and waiting to pick a fight against the first person to offer a differing opinion, I’ll give the thread some space. Can’t speak for anyone, but myself though.

 

I was concerned that some people might misunderstand and think that this was about race and not about crime.

Well it is now 9 days later and the last post was on the 12th and that was the 34th reply. On the other hand, one of the Pittsburgh threads had 620 replies across 25 pages ON THE DAY OF INITIAL POST! (October 28.) Did we know the motive on the 28th? I don't think so.

 

What do you propose is the cause? What do you propose should/could be done about it?

(Shrug) The political Left revel in holding double standards. These are the people who embraced the philosophical standard of The Ends Justifies The Means in order to advance their political agenda. At that point one might as well give up addressing them as true facts and the truth itself is something that vast numbers of them reject as getting in the way of . . . their . . . politics and end goals.

 

So what, the vast majority of murders are done by blacks
