Why do so many people blindly believe the US claims that Russia hacked the election?

The attempt to use ongoing civil disputes inside of America to further divide it constitutes as antagonist actions IMO. Then this Butima thing is honestly really serious. One of the reasons I kind of foo-foo'd the Russia thing was because it wasn't an 'intrusion' in the real sense of the word. It was facebook ads, which I laughed at.

If they had a real intrusion, a real campaign of infiltration then that requires an even greater response than sanctions. We should cancel all joint operations and agreements with the Russians.

Then why did the united states conclude that selling so much uranium to the nation of Russia constituted a good idea that was worthwhile engaging in?

Easy. It was a legal commercial transaction between two corporations that had no impact on national security or interests.

Studied and vetted six ways to sunday. The question you should be answering is why should the deal have been stopped in the first place.

Sure---trump stood right next to Putin in Helsinki & took Putin's side over the "United States"---That is" treason"----then when trump returned to the United States he tried to change the wording-However doesn't stop the fact that he" chose ",the act of supporting Russia over the United States-----you can try to ignore it all you want, but facts are facts---trump is a "traitor"!

But yet here you are carrying on a conversation,so whatever! Oh,no, it is not loosely----trump stood right next to Putin in Helsinki & took Putin's side over the United States---that is "treason"---I posted the Article in the Constitution that described treason--so I am quite in the understanding of what constitutes being a traitor---trump is a traitor!

Explain precisely how the above meets the legal definition of treason.

Trump's statement that he did not trust his "intelligence services" was not treason. Egads what a Drama Queen.

Considering that in the previous year or two, Clapper and Brennan, 2 stellar members of the US "intelligence services" had both perjured themselves before congress.

    Only fools trust known liars.

So,then by your statement " Only fools trust known liars" I am to gather that you are "not" a trump fan?
No,that is not what I was referring to when I said trump was a traitor. Perhaps before you go name calling ,you would get the facts instead of assuming! Just saying------

Except for the fact that it was not. The legal definition of treason, as recognized by the united states is as follows:

    https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2381

Whoever, owing allegiance to the United States, levies war against them or adheres to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort within the United States or elsewhere, is guilty of treason and shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.

    (June 25, 1948, ch. 645, 62 Stat. 807; Pub. L. 103–322, title XXXIII, § 330016(2)(J), Sept. 13, 1994, 108 Stat. 2148.)

Once again. Explain, precisely, how the actions of Donald Trump meet the legal definition of treason. Explain precisely what aid and comfort was provided by Donald Trump to the nation of Russia. Explain how war was levied against the united states by Donald Trump. Explain the validity of the position being established by yourself and demonstrate it is factually correct, rather than incoherent screaming fueled by blind and unintelligible hatred for Donald Trump.

Since legal inquiries into such matters are kept secret until their leaders (like Mueller) decide to make what's known public, it's no surprise you've seen no evidence as yet. That doesn't mean there is none.

No one I've heard has said Russia "hacked" the election. There's increasing evidence Russia pushed the electorate toward Trump by releasing nasty (and untrue) propaganda against Hillary through internet media outlets. Those did have an impact and helped convince those on the fence to vote for Trump. Russia's efforts were primarily accomplished thru the internet rather than "hacking" into state voting systems. In any case, they are regarded as illegal, and anyone helping them, committed a crime--and that could include Trump himself, though it's too early to say for certain yet.

    Communist Russia.

Not the Label the Far right gives to Democrats.

Russia exercises control over their citizens which are contrast with America's value's and Freedom.
When America has divisions ( what Trump has sown beginning in his campaign ) it buoys the communist system.

    You specifically said the USA.

If you look at the assassinations in Britain or the takeover of Crimea you'll see clearly why Russia is a Clear enemy

Every day the united states becomes more like "Communist Russia" with regard to control over the citizens. It is difficult to not find some news article somewhere about a city, state, or the federal government itself seeing fit to dictate what the people can and cannot do, and what decisions can be legally made for themselves rather than having to defer to the judgement of the government on the matter or face significant punishment for attempting otherwise. There are those who hold office in the united states who have stated that they must exercise regulative authority over every aspect of the lives of private individuals.

Like I said,I was pretty precise---trump stood right next to Putin in Helsinki & took Putin's side over the United States--trump betrayed the United States, then when he came home he attempted to safe face by changing one word & that was "would to wouldn't"----trump made his choice-he chose Putin over the United States----trump is a "traitor" in my book-----
You can defend him all you want, you can split hairs all you want---but bottom line---trump is a traitor!

A single syllable, a single letter of difference, is the entire basis for declaring Donald Trump to be a traitor to the united states? It is difficult to comprehend a weaker justification for such an accusation.

Trump's behavior speaks for itself. He's a Russiaphile, and wants to be America's Putin.

    OMG---You missed my point completely!
What is more disturbing is that an American citizen is arguing in trump's defense on this issue--trump didn't have the guts to stand up to Putin when he was face to face with him, so add coward to the long list of ineptness from this moron that calls himself the POTUS----

Just the most recent example of why such is believed.

    https://www.wnd.com/2018/08/we-have-to-regulate-every-aspect-of-peoples-lives/

“We have to regulate every aspect of people’s lives.”

That admission came recently from Councilman Jesse Dominguez during a meeting of the Santa Barbara City Council regarding the criminalization of the use of plastic straws.

While no one wants old plastic straws cluttering up streets, waste dumps or oceans, Dominguez moved far beyond the usual solutions, advocating for criminal penalties.

“Unfortunately, common sense is just not common,” he said. “We have to regulate every aspect of people’s lives.”

PJMedia commented: “Got that? ‘We’ are smarter than you and know what’s best for you better than you do.”

The website reported Dominguez tried to walk back his gaffe.
